I read a comment from a lady who posted on your last video, wgen you got your new ipad. She said she could no longer relate to you or your content because you buy things and go out to lunch!! I thought that was really unfair. I cannot relate to you at all. Im 54, single, no children. Im vegan and dont live in Japan BUT i really enjoy watching your videos. I watch a few youtubers from Japan. I find it fascinating how you live. Cooking everything from scratch. Making so many dishes from scratch. Hiw much detail you put into everything you do. I am planning on visiting japan next year (from the UK). Im glad you can have nice lunches with your husband and get nice treats.. Times are tough for lots of people at the moment but we shouldn't be envious of other people. You work hard on your videos. I cant wait to do some shopping when i get to Japan. All the little dishes you show are adorable. I especially love the Crane dish from New Years Eve stuff. I hope they sell them all year so i can get ine 😃😃😃 Best wishes from Tracy 💚💚💚

So glad you are continuing to vlog. I especially like Kaldi. I love shops like that. I tried the chicken dish using local citrus marmalade and a bit of sweet spicy chili tai sauce instead of spicy hot chili. Dad and I cannot take the heat like you.. lol The marmalade was a bit tart from the citrus rinds and balanced with the other ingredients. Thanks so much for sharing the recipe. Edit- oh I will use the mango jam when I make it for just myself!

I so look forward to Wednesday and Saturday when I know a new video will go up. Because of you I have been inspired to be more thoughtful of my kitchen and what goes in and comes out. Your family is incredibly lucky to have you!❤️

*LINA* @3:40 - those cream-colored silicon spatulas are my absolute favorite, especially the small size. So handy to get every last bit out of a bowl or pot or jar, you can stir a sauce or roll an omelet without damaging non-stick pans, they're one piece so very hygienic, flat and small so they don't take up much space. I have several and they're the tool I use more than any other - got mine at Daiso here too! Cheers from Oz!

It's amazing how different our packaging is from yours to ours here in Australia. We have bags of carrots but they are quite thin and maybe 8 or 10 in a bag, potatoes are in bags usually of maybe 20-25 depending on the type and you can buy some loose for individual purchase. Also we have loose apples(pay by the kg) and or bags of apples maybe 8-10 in each bag. You seem to be a bit more appreciative of a perfect apple or pear there and I think when sold with such care people do value them more..much less waste..I also value the way your meat is prepared and sold, so efficient and looks good. Australia is great but we are not very smart with the produce side of things.❤
@donia16 ай бұрын
Same in the USA and the prices are wonderful where she lives. USA waste so much and It's hard to get good produce and to find it is costly if you do, even the farmer market in the summer

Hello Linna! I usually comment rarely on videos I watch, but this time I felt the need to do so, to let you know that your content is really nice and relaxing to me and I am waiting for it with anticipation every time. It is nice of you to let us in your home and share your daily life. I love grocery shopping my self for my home and also buy nice things for it, so I feel very good when I see you doing the same!! I would like to ask you and anyone else who would like to answer, about the lotus root. I live in Greece so lotus root is only available in deep freeze in Asian grocery stores. My question is this, the taste of a lotus root is only sweet? And where can I use the deep freeze ones other than soups? Thank you and have a nice day or night everyone!!
@LinnainJapan8 ай бұрын
The lotus roots is really naturally very lightly sweet, almost earthy. You can also defrost it and use it in stir fry, blanched and use for salad.🎶
