Trigger warning: I usually don't give those, but I wish someone gave it to me for this video. It has graphic, violent and disturbing images.
This is not a traditional vocal coach reaction. I've already reacted and analyzed Dimash's singing of this. song live, you can wat it here:
cutt.ly/t25Hj4M
In this reaction I watch the official music video, seeing if what everyone said was right: Does everything make sense after watching the clip? I'm also commenting on the concept and the emotions the video raised in me.

It was hard to see how much you have been struggling. On DimashNews they wrote: „This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children.“ At the end you see the positive in this video, the glimps of hope. THE special boy, the savior, who can save the world is born. People from every faith, from every corner of the world unite to follow towards the light. They, we are choosing life! It’s a wake up call for all of us. We all can choose life, respect and love each other, be tolerant and accept others.

Cedric Gegel made two videos about the interpretation of the video and I'm sure you'll find it very insightful. The second one was after a long meeting that he had with one of the main filmmakers that worked on the project. The beauty of this video is when you watch it more than once and really pay attention to the tiny details that are so symbolic.

MUSIC HISTORY He not only composed this Symphonic Tone Poem, he conducted it, acted it, sang it and put it in movie format rocketing it into 21st century music history ! He stands on the shoulders of the great pianist composer Franz Liszt who composed the first one in the 1800s and changed music forever.

Life isn't always beautiful or enjoyable, fact is that there is lot of bad things happening in the world, people suffering, people fighting to survive. To ignore the ugly and bad doesn't make it go away, I think it's important to aknowledge the facts. It's through enlightenment and engagement we can help change the world. IMO this video is full of hope, we (humanity) have a choice, we can choose life, we can choose not to follow the bad Pipers out there. We can choose to be more acceptant of others and try to tolerate our differences.

He wrote War and Peace 3 years ago and we didn't listen so now he decided to smack us in the face with it. He's grown more and more saddened by our tendancy to wrap ourselves in our own comfort blankets and ignore what's going on in the world. Unfortunately as we do that our own security is on shakey ground. This time he pulled no punches and laid out the future if we don't start to handle things differently and stop hating each other for no good reason.

Gracias Dimash !❤

That is the grandiose and impressive result of three years of compositional work by Dimash Qudaibergen. This clip is not about war, it’s about peace. War here is a means of expressing the contrast of what happens when we lose love for one another. It is about the call to unite, to stop dividing each other along national, social, religious lines in order to preserve life, love, friendship, and the land for our children. Story: The clip is divided into several parts. The first is about childhood. The main character and his 2 friends are linked in eternal friendship through childhood stories and a symbol (necklace). One day, the friend saves the protagonist when he is drowning. However, there is already competition in this children's story as the boys are in love with the girl and she chooses 'Dimash'. The pendant is a gnomon, the shadow hand of a sundial, which also served as a sea compass before antiquity. Uniform wearers wear this symbol on their heads. So it can't work. The second experiences a kind of nervous breakdown and transfers the children's problems into the world of adult totalitarianism and struggle. By becoming President, the antagonist (Piper - in reference to the 'Pied Piper of Hamelin') carries within himself the idea of a war to save: “Only war will lead us to peace. Only the strongest can find love in their hearts. You must be strong enough to give freedom to the world. A world where every city, every home is one. We will guide all who are ready to start this new life. Anyone who resists has no business with us. I choose freedom. The world is open to me and I want to give it to you. War for the people is the way to unity.” The main character also speaks of unity, of peace, but through the lens of kindness and love. While fighting, he is confused, he is in shock, but he has to save his family - his pregnant wife (the very girl from his childhood) and his daughter. Once home, he is horrified by the picture of the dead and realizes that his family is also dead. After surviving this drama, he moves on to the antagonist to seek revenge. However, the Protagonist’s wife survives with the help of people who know that she is the one who must give birth to a special boy who can save the world. These are people of different nationalities and faiths who have united for peace. A parallel line of pilgrims are people of different religions, walking the hard path to some place of power where they could unite and discover the Heavenly Eye that would illuminate the world. By uniting, they create a common energy in which the protagonist’s son is born, as Hope and Faith for the Better. Their journey is a symbol of faith in general, because it always goes through trials. When we go to the truth, we go through certain lessons and our way to God is difficult, but only possible if we come together. 👉 The words at the end of the video are from the "Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together" signed by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb, on February 4, 2019. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting. Producer - Dimash Qudaibergen Script - Dimash Qudaibergen Music - Dimash Qudaibergen Lyrics - Liliya Vinogradova (she also wrote Passione, Ti Amo Cosi, Olimpico, etc...) Directed by - Alina Veripia DimashAli Director - Kanat Aitbayev (Dimash’s dad) Dimash Qudaibergen’s 12-minute work is dedicated to the unity of people on our planet. We are all divided into races, nations and religions, but we are all children of one planet and live under one sky. Life is the highest value. No sacred book calls for the destruction of people. We must learn to be friends; it is impossible for a few adults to cause millions of children to suffer. The future of our planet, the future of people is in our hands, let there be peace in the world. We are children of one Home, one Earth and one Heaven. (description box, Dimash news, astanatimes) My opinion: The whole song is an outcry. Dimash's unmistakable emotionally charged voice draws you into the video. I was totally hypnotized. My heart aches because of the wars and misery in this world. The greed, envy and intolerance of men will wipe them off the face of the earth if they do not come to their senses. Children and women are targeted victims of annihilation and rape in wars. But they are not just victims or mothers. They are half of humanity. Where are they? Why don't the women climb the mountain side by side with the men and head towards the sunrise and a better future? I only see men running mercilessly past a collapsed comrade-in-arms. Nobody helps him. What future can such a humanity await? Will anything ever change? *** Pope Francis awarded a commemorative medal to Kazakh singer Dimash Qudaibergen during the Pope's visit to the Seventh Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions September 14-15, 2022 in Astana/Kazakhstan. On September 13, 2022, Dimash performed his new song 'The Story of One Sky' at the concert held for convention attendees. The music video premiered on September 24 at Dimash's meeting with fans in Almaty. A few days earlier, Dimash said he had just shot 'the world's most expensive music video' to compose it.

Thank you for your thoughts on this video. Your reaction is exactly what Dimash is trying to convey. It's not meant to be enjoyed. It's meant to be experienced... to make you feel... and to make you think. Feelings of sadness, and perhaps anger, is the goal of this video. The sadness comes from the tragedy and senseless horror of war. It's meant to make us think of how this can be prevented, and how much better our world would be if we, like those in the pilgrimage, could come together to reach a common goal... a world of peace and understanding.

You are not the average "reactor" and Thank God for that.......... But you are right. Sometimes things that are not enjoyable still have a purpose. Still bring a message. Dimash is obsessed in using his platform to make a better World. I wish him luck in that pursuit. I sometimes think it gets in the way of his Art and Talent. But he gets to decide his own path. I for one will always listen to him sing. He moves me, even without the "World View" messages. I get a message every time he sings. The simple stories he sings about are just as important to me. Thanks again for you efforts. You always give me things to think about........

How else would you trigger all the suppressed grief, pain and sadness if not by something like this? You get access to these emotions by triggering and feeling them. In this sense videos like that are healing, however we need to watch with the express desire to heal. We have to ask for it. We designed our lives in such a way, that those deep emotions are never-ever triggered. By protecting them, we keep them. But we can choose to heal instead and let them go. This is not difficult, however this idea is not something that comes to mind naturally.

Dimash forces us to open our eyes wide to what is really going on. It takes a lot of courage to produce such a video when he wants to expand his career globally. His only concern is that the wars cease and that peace returns to earth and for him, this is more important than his notoriety. For that, he deserves all our respect. I'm a fan of Dimash and this is nothing I haven't seen throughout my health professional and war zone volunteer career. I'm as sensitive as you are and I admire you for it. But I got the strength because someone has to help these people. I was in Syria in 2019, in Iran in 2020, and God help me I will be in Ukraine in 2023 on the front line cooking for the soldiers. Among all this, I was in 2018 in England O2 at the Dimash concert in 2019 in Nursultan Kazakhstan at another concert, in Almaty 2022. It is hard to see these images I know, but turn that sensitivity into strength because it is the most sensitive beings that help. A kiss. I also have children, I know what hurts. But being there and helping alleviates our pain and weakness. A tender hug from a fragile Portuguese woman who loves Dimash and gives herself body and soul to those who suffer. Fortunately, I also choose life, so at times I've felt what it's like to sacrifice mine in favor of younger ones. There is no reason for a war, but I don't ask myself who is right or wrong, I just have to help because it exists. And today I feel much better than before, because I stripped myself of everything that is not essential to survive.Go ahead woman! A kiss.

This song is a "modern" multicultural interfaith Requiem (the traditional Requiem is a song for the Mass of the Dead in the Catholic Church. The best known requiem is by Mozart I think). The Requiem usually has 2 parts: one mourning death and the other celebrating life. Dimash says in his lower voice: Адам керуен, өмір жол. Man is a caravan, life is a road. (Kazakh proverb) So for me, the caravan is his (and our) inner world. Religiosity is in us, the religious man dies when a part of the soldier (Dimash) dies when he finds his daughter dead. So when he seeks revenge, there's a storm. Death follows death: Piper dies but the soldier (Dimash) dies too. Death is not the answer. His son joins others in seeking peace. That is the final answer. Hug from Brazil 😍🇧🇷

In the beginning, there are 3 children with pure souls who go through the traumatic experience of being close to a friend's drowning, but they manage to save together and form a kind of brotherhood for which they choose a sign, an initially innocent sign with a good meaning, they chose life . Life offered them different ways of personal development, one became a dictator, another became a soldier fighting for his friend's ideas out of conviction while the girl is about to give birth. The horrors of the war culminating in the killing of the innocent little girl cause the soldier to wake up to reality, who correctly decides that the dictator and the media manipulation by which he won his supporters are to blame. Like any dictator, he needs a message and a symbol. The message is a false one "The war is the way to unite people!", and the symbol is distorted exactly as Hitler distorted the originally beneficial meaning of the swastika! Those who march in the desert looking for the light and facing hardships to reach the light, the light for which they are even willing to die, are of various religions, I counted at least a few extremely visible even for those less familiar with them (the Christian cross , the book of the Koran, the shaolin costume, etc.). The clip has great symbolism combining the pain of death and birth, each bringing something else, one deep pain, and the other hope in life! To emphasize this idea, the clip has a cyclical meaning, the return to the water shows us what we have lost and for which it is worth fighting, obviously the newborn grows up and it is as obvious that it is Dimash's child as that of the girl from the beginning, and he gets to lead the world regardless of religion towards the light of life! That's how I see this video clip! If I made a mistake, I apologize! To these I would add that, depending on the moment, Dimash exceptionally chooses the most suitable means of conveying his feelings to us. When I say this, I mean the vocal techniques used, the timbre of the voice, the scenic and interpretive presence and his immense vocal range. All these things were masterfully presented by our lady Linor Oren, and now they were accompanied with a lot of courage and sincerity of the lives in front of us. All respect for her mental strength to go to the end with her comment just for our sake, overcoming her very visible emotional pain!

I think that’s the point! It’s not easy to watch, but unfortunately we need to. It’s brutal reality that people put out of there mind because it is so hard to see. Sometimes witnessing the horror of reality is the only way to change it. It was also very hard for Dimash to make this video.

These are my views on this amazing masterpiece Story of One Sky - I have watched this many times and still find things out that i never thought of amazing video and i have said it before if anyone could bring peace i strongly believe Dimash could make it possible. This needs to be shared worldwide to show people there is another way. War is never the answer because the only ones to suffer are the innocent. Rewatched the song of Dimash today one line stood out to me One of the most profound lines in The Story of One Sky is the line "Learn to share the love, Not shares" Not shares meaning stop making money out of war rich people have many shares in companies that profit from weapon manufacturing making them richer while the innocent suffer sadly this is why war exists. MONEY, GREED and POWER. The boy who was drowning was (Dimash's character as a child) made the necklaces that were given to the girl who grew up to be (Dimash's pregnant wife) and the boy who saved him who (grew up to be the military leader), possibly out of jealousy. The military leader waged his war The part in the video with the little girl and the people in the hallway were Dimash's family who had been wiped out the little girl whose body he picked up was his daughter, the baby that was born was his son who grew up to be Dimash grown up at the end!!! The Dimash at the end can also be seen as Dimash in the afterlife leading others to the light in peace. The This video needs to be shown worldwide. Something else i noticed is in his dying breath he sang (We're Choosing Life) as he finally passed away now that is powerful

Imagine if more people were like Dimash, and understood how needless these horrors are. Whenever I see war movies, one of the things I think about is how strange it is that people keep saying that women can't control their feelings, and that women are ruled by their hormones; yet practically every war in history is started by men, fought by men, about 90 % of murders have male perpetrators, and for every female prison inmate there are at least 12 men. Maybe men need to learn how to controll their feelings instead, and let the rest of us live in peace.

You are wrong, only few of men do what you are saying, women can be as brutal as men, in war. And most of wars in history are religion based ones, or maybe resources, oil, coal, minerals, but anyway its something one have and other wants. That have happend as long human being as we know today, have been around. Still religion rules quite large part of world, there is no real democracy, in any nation, they just call it that way. And good priest or politician is good, when they can talk one hour and saying nothing. If you get it?

HOW?!! When Dimash premiered this song at his concert he gave a speech prior to singing the song. I think that speech is important and gives context to the song and story: "Many thanks dear friends, before I perform the next song, let me say a few words. Thank you very much. We, the people sitting in this stadium, each of us is different, not totally alike one another, but we are all God's children, each of us with different talents. And, as I mentioned just now, right now is a bad time. In fact, I am not satisfied with the present situation. I have not seen how such situations evolved in the past, therefore I don't know what will happen next. But many people are suffering today because of a few individuals, it's really true. We, we the adults, consider ourselves to be "smarter" than the small children and innocents, but while we do our best to teach and educate our children, we forget that we also have some things to learn from those children. They are pure-hearted, kind, friendly, untainted and without egos and their love for people are pure. Young children have such qualities. I started writing this song I'm about to perform, three years ago. Generally speaking, my main purpose in writing this work is to call for peace in the world. It's a small composition that has burst out from deep within my heart. To tell you truth, many thanks to god and with your wishes I traveled to many parts of the world and met many different people during my tours. One thing I understood is that if you look at ordinary people, there is no such thing as a bad nationality, there is no bad nationality! I don't need to tell you what you already know about the reason for mentioning the topic of nationality here... Let there be peace in the world, Let there be peace. Let there be no war. Let no people, let no nationality, let no country suffer! Because after all, ordinary individuals, ordinary people are not at fault. The truth of the matter is, no ordinary person is guilty of starting a war! That's why the next song I'll be performing in your honor is about our common fate under one sky, it's called "The Story of One Sky". Hope you like it."

I commend you for your bravery in managing to watch this very disturbing video all the way through to the end. And I commend you also for coming straight to the point with your conclusion, that we must take all of the souls of the dead who have sacrified themselves (or been sacrificed) in wars not of their making, and use them and their memory to turn ourselves towards the right path. The path of peace, the path of love, the path of light. Everyone from all religions, all countries and all races must join together and really change the world. I believe Dimash wants to show us the way. He is just a man like any other man, but he has a dream, and from the platform of his singing is starting to obtain a major position of influence in countries all around the world at all levels of society. This song was premiered live at the Seventh Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions on September 14-15th 2022. He got a standing ovation from the delegates. At the congress, Pope Francis awarded Dimash Kudaibergen with a medal commemorating the event, which was held in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan . In a cultural interaction meeting at the Indonesian Embassy in Kazakhstan, Indonesian Ambassador Rahmat Pramono said that Dimash, through his voice, has become an Ambassador for Peace. In 2020 Dimash became the first Global Ambassador of the world’s largest medical supply non-profit organization Project C.U.R.E., which supplies medical equipment to developing countries. In a speech at the Central Asian Media Forum 20th Dec 2022, Dimash called on all the people of the world to embrace peace, tolerance, respect and compassion.

This as a meaningful message for what will happen if we don't change direction, we can't say this is new to us. All over the planet people are going through this. We can all stick our head in the sand, but that won't make it go away. Education and awareness of what is happening to some will allow people to make better decisions. Dimash sent this message advising people not to just go along with the people pushing war, but to turn away from it. His vocals supporting this was just astounding, I was in tears, at following them going through their young life to their adult life to back around to the adults passing and the young, then leading all religions to the light. A rejection of what had come before. Classic eye for an eye, Dimash shooting the person causing the pain, then losing his own life. The killing of his daughter for his wife to then produce a son as she passed. To the son then leading the people to the light. I have watched this many times and its so profound its a message of hope as long as you turn way from the worst and turn towards the light. For Dimash to use his platform is a bold move, so many who could be doing this, don't. We need people to stand up and say - enough is enough. As for Dimash acting, he pulled it off, he didn't overact, he didn't make it all about him, he flowed with the story. Just wonderful....

Avoiding the painful truth is not a right defense mechanism. Putting all bad emotions under the carpet, burying our heads in the sand (ostrich effect), is the reason why our planet is at this point. If you care about your children, if you care about all children, if you care about humanity, don't expect from others to do the job. How about making the world a better place? It starts from me and you. It's our choice to choose life. With no excuses.

This is by far the best explanation I have found. It was written by Heiderose Kober: This is subtitled "Requiem” but it is also a vision and a call to action. Dimash is steeped in sacred music and has a deep understanding of the mystic teachings and symbolism of the major world religions as well as Kazakh shamanism. It is not by coincidence that the first performance of this work took place on September 14, 2022, at the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan. The written statement at the end of the video is directly from the “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together” signed jointly on February 4, 2019, by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting. Everything Dimash does is intentional, and this piece has layers that would take a dissertation to unravel. I only touch on some of what struck me in the symbolism. The music is a dissertation all by itself. The pendant is an interesting element. It is a gnomon from a maritime compass sundial. This triangular blade is attached to the sundial, casting a shadow on the sundial while the perforated pinhole projects the image of the sun onto the dial. It was used for both timekeeping and navigation, with the gnomon oriented to True North. (Thank you, Snarky Tart for that information). In the MV, (the taller child) who later becomes the military commander, never puts on the necklace. After Dimash, (the drowning boy), gives his friend the pendant. The camera focuses on his hand and shows that his friend has bent the gnomon in anger over being rejected by the girl (later Dimash's Wife and the mother of his daughter who is killed). Thus bent, it can never be oriented to True North, and he has lost his moral l compass. Later, we see a version of the gnomon as the military insignia on the uniforms of the commander and his soldiers, but distorted and without the hole that allows light to shine through rendering it useless as a compass. When we lose the original intent of a symbol by twisting it into something it is not or by just paying lip service, it no longer has any spiritual meaning. At best it becomes a useless prop, at worst it is used to mislead and manipulate people. Contemporary music is also present: With the phrase "We have passed the moment of Imagine," Dimash reminds us that we are past the sentiments evoked by the song "Imagine" by John Lennon. It is time to stop dreaming about a world of peace and harmony. If we choose life, if we wish for peace, if we want a world without war for our children and grandchildren, we must act and take up the long hard path up the mountain towards the light. It is the only way. The storyline is a very human one: we start as innocents until our hearts are broken, we fail, or our dreams are not realized. If in our pain and disappointment, we turn to anger and blame instead of acceptance, power instead of love, greed and envy instead of generosity, hatred instead of forgiveness, and revenge instead of justice, we sow the seeds for conflicts that can turn into war. The Piper's call is seductive as it promises redress for our grievances, control over our circumstances, and power over those who thwarted us, and this appeals to our wounded ego. However, let's remember that the Piper is a symbolic figure of Death from the Middle Ages, often used as a metaphor for trusting and following charismatic but dangerous and malevolent leaders to certain death. Even if we resist, as the adult Dimash character does, we often employ the same methods and weaponry as the Piper, and thus those who fight back betray peace as well because peace cannot be won through violence. That is the dilemma of those of us who did not start the war, who do not support the war, but are forced to respond in order to defend ourselves and those we love. How can we rid the world of evil without becoming what we fight against? The burning sign "Waldenberg" is a reference to the end of WWII when the US Army destroyed the last of the resistance by the German Wehrmacht close to the end of the war in April 1945 in the part of Germany where I grew up. I have seen the aftermath of war as I was born a few years later when much of Germany was still in rubble. Waldenburg is only 28 miles from my hometown and was completely destroyed as you can see from the picture. Many of the dead in those bombed-out buildings were women and children. The good guys defeated evil but at what price? War is not the answer. We must find better ways to keep evil in check. iowaculture.gov/.../american-troops-move-through The last movement is powerful: The cries over the loss of a beloved child and the cries of giving birth to new life are presented as a call-and-response grounded by a powerful Om chant that creates a sacred space, reminding us that death and birth are both sacraments and are interwoven in the tapestry of life. Dimash's vocalization and the pilgrims representing world religions and religious leaders, past and present, walking together shift the narrative toward the final conflict and finally redemption. When Dimash’s character decides to avenge the murder of his daughter, his state of consciousness is reflected in the darkening sky with lightning bolts of anger accompanying the storm of his emotions that buffets the pilgrims and hinder progress. The fog of war obscures the light. When he is killed after exacting retribution, he is dropped back into the "sacred womb" of Earth, the ocean of love and mercy, and is cleansed of the old hatreds and grievances that only bring more death and suffering. He breaks the wheel of endless war and suffering by choosing life. Dimash's scream of “we’re choosing life” is that of giving birth: the old earthly consciousness of an eye for an eye has to die to make way for a new spiritual consciousness that embraces all life. Soul is breaking free to return to its natural state of love and purity as exemplified by the images of the children and the newborn baby. The blowing of the shofar signals God's mercy for humankind when it turns from wrong to right: in the Zohar, the book of Jewish mysticism, it says: “When human beings repent of their sins, they blow the shofar on earth. Its sound ascends On High and awakens the heavenly shofar, and so mercy is aroused and judgment is removed.” Reborn as a leader for peace and love, Dimash's character in the form of his son becomes a spiritual guide for all of mankind on our shared journey up the mountain towards the light of God, however we may interpret or name the divine. We are all on the same path, even if our personal narratives, cultural heritage, race, and spiritual orientations are very different from one another. By focusing on our common destination rather than on our differences, we can walk together in peace and love and mutual respect. Carl Jung wrote: “Knowing your own darkness is the best method for dealing with the darknesses of other people. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious. The most terrifying thing is to accept oneself completely. Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” This is what Dimash has done with this work; he has made the darkness conscious. We can only raise our individual and collective consciousness by bringing to light what needs to be healed in our lives and our world, and then we need to work together to restore wholeness to what is broken and bring about peace and unity, one step at a time. We don’t have to wait. We can start right now. As the hymn tells us: "Let there peace in the world, and let it begin with me." Baraka Bashad.

I'd love to see you react to Dimash playing part of his composition on the piano. It's on utube and it's interesting how he must have been able to turn it into this MV.

She is really not a fan of Dimash, she reacts to him but can always find fault with him. Her intro giving an alert is an example.

@@brendaguerin5423 I don't believe that's true. I believe she really admires his talent but comes from a different perspective. We don't all think alike or always express ourselves clearly. She has definitely made statements, and criticisms, in the past that I didn't agree with, but I understand she looks at certain things differently than I, and a lot of others, do. And that's ok.

@ Barbara Saracini....afraid I have to agree with Brenda. Lenor is often negative and seems to try and find the slightest thing to pick apart in her reactions to Dimash's songs. She gives me quite a negative vibe so I hadn't watched her Dimash reactions lately. She certainly could have tried to find more positives about the MV. It's beautifully done and she could find nothing. How sad. Don't think she's a happy person at all. She's quite the drama queen. I unsubscribed after I finished watching.

I am so sorry that this saddened you so much. It is a harsh reality that far too many are experiencing as we speak. We shield ourselves from facing this just as a survival mechanism and as you said to not turn to nihilism and hopelessness. But what Dimash is saying here is that we must face this reality as mankind constitutes the caravan on the road to redemption from our basest instincts for war. And what he insists on is choosing life. If you look at history we are actually making progress and we are at a point where we must choose between getting along with one another or the absurdity annihilating one another. Old men with fantasies of domination are being replaced by the young who just want to live in peace. We're choosing life.

Before singing this song at the concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Dimash made a short speech about the unjustified suffering of innocent children in wars, also unjustified. The great message of this video and song (created in perfect symbiosis) is the fact that it doesn't matter who is right, who initiated, who maintains... The important thing is to empathically put yourself in the shoes of a child victim of war: us bothered by what we see in a fiction, but with what we know exists in the reality in which we live! We are cold and insensitive in the face of what we hear or learn about the war in the media, because it seems distant... A fiction... The clip bothers us to bring back a proactive pain, that changes us, moves us, us turn into proactive agents in favor of peace!

I think it's much better that you, as a vocal coach, react to the live performance first and not straight away to the MV. Many claim you missed a lot. Yes, that's true, but I think anyone who says that is forgetting that they've seen the video multiple times themselves. I doubt anyone was able to grasp and process everything when they first saw the video. It's just impossible to focus on both at the same time , the video and the voice. Since you knew what to expect, I think you were able to fully focus on the content of the video. I would always recommend the live performance first. The video shows once again that Dimash is an absolute genius. In singing but also as an actor and as a storyteller. The powerful message conveyed by this video is more relevant today than ever. I think this video is mostly about the message. This message however, is for the first time more important than his vocal abilities. His voice is just the tool in this video. But indispensable and simply indescribable. His singing is indescribable and I don’t have the words to express it adequately. But it is only the mediator of what this video is about. This is so heartbreaking and sad and an awesome masterpiece. Pure goosebumps. I really felt sorry for you when you said that about the children at the beginning, considering what's to come. He worked on this composition for three years and also wrote the screenplay. The premiere was on September 24, 2022. As some have mentioned, this video should be seen by many people. It may be very brutal for some. But let’s not forget that for many, including children, this is everyday life in some countries. And Dimash relentlessly shows us how ugly war is. I think you got it right, but let me explain a little bit. Dimash was the littel boy who was drowning in the beginning and he gave the necklace to his childhood friend (and future leader) and the girl. The girl on the beach was his future wife. And she gave birth to her second child in the video. The littel girl who was shot was Dimashs and her first daughter. Desperation and maybe revenge has led him to kill his former friend. But violence always breeds violence, and because of this, not only is the leader dead, but so is Dimash. Dimash in the last sequence of the video was the baby (and not the dead Dimash walking in afterlife. You can read that in dimashnews) that was born and now as a grown man unites people of different nationalities and religions for peace. If you want to know more about this video check out dimashnews. com Btw, Dimash has received an Award from Pope Francis personally at The Congress of the Leaders of World and Traditional Religions held in Kazakhstan on September 13, 2022. He performed the song there in connection with the congress before the premiere. He also recently gave a speech at the first Central Asian Media Forum, in which he once again strongly advocated peace. You can see it with English subtitles. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHSYZpRpotuZhg Greetings and thank you for reacting to this masterpiece👋❤️

Dear Linor, life is not all fun and art. Art is not just fun, it is also history, culture, tradition and values. Dimash had his country invaded by Russia in 1917 after the 2nd war and his ancestors, among them young people, were summoned and forced to go to a war that wasn't theirs, leaving behind their old or sick parents: see the song by Dimash (SAMALTAU). Many were arrested, tortured and killed in prisons and many died of starvation. His country was liberated three years before he was born and he carries in his blood these stories of courage, courage and resistance of his people in the face of an inconceivable war. Dimash transcends his pain and sings happy, dancing, romantic songs and others more committed to the tradition of his people. He does not forget the suffering of his people but does not indulge in child victimization. On the contrary, he brings enchantment and wisdom to other peoples, languages and customs. God gave him the gift of his beautiful voice to reflect to the world that we can and have a duty to overcome the sadness, pain and misfortunes that life sometimes reserves for us, testing our fidelity and love for others and for God. It is his mission, it is his purpose in this life to gather thousands of fans, admirers and worshipers of his art so divinely recorded by him through his art. Here in Brazil these days we are suffering from injustices, where the law of injustice orders the arrest of journalists, conservative deputies who dare to denounce them for corruption and tyranny, thousands of patriots including women, children and the elderly have been arrested in places such as concentration for demonstrating in favor of freedom. When we don't know our history, it repeats itself. We are living on a drifting boat, but we will not let indifference occupy our hearts. We suffer but I still choose life. Dimash is right. God bless your days and your steps on earth. Hug from Brazil

Thank you for your reaction. I know was probably hard to see this video but the message is clear. We are all born and live under the same sky. Christians, muslims, Jews or any other religion in this world. This video shows exactly what is going on every day here on earth. The war, the killings based on religion, gender sexuality. Children are killed every day around the world. It’s very easy to bury your head in the sand and pretend that life is beautiful. Dimash is not that kind of artist. And for this I admire him even more. Musically speaking the song is brilliant. Considering the fact that he also composed this, just proves how talented hi is, not only vocally ❤🎼

Thank you for reacting to this video. It was a great reaction. I'm glad that you were so disturbed by it. I don't mean that as a criticism, everyone who sees this should be immensely disturbed by it. That of course, is kind of the point. It's difficult to watch every time I see it but, unfortunately, it's a sad represention of reality. You are probably aware that Dimash composed the music for this, and although he didn't write the lyrics, you may not be aware that he also write the script for the MV.

I love that Dimash is willing to risk offending people in order to get his message out. It isn’t pretty, it isn’t politically correct, it doesn’t make us feel good, feel loved, feel uplifted. Put it’s his heart, and he isn’t ashamed of it. The best part is, that he is right. And while there isn’t much I can do to dethrone world leader pipers, I can dethrone my personal pipers. My laziness, my addictions, my greed, my bigotry, my selfishness, and my cowardesness. My only New Years resolution… I’M CHOOSING LIFE!!!
