I bought 8x tricopper plussound cable for a thousand dollars recently... People told me it really influences on soundstage and i bought it. But now when i saw your opinion on expensive cables I'm disappointed af :( are you sure there is no differences between that 50dollars cable and 8x tricopper plussound for 1000dollars?

I am 100% certain that any company that could show or prove and such claims would try...even skirt the truth. They don't try, they know that would bring blastback from sound science folks who lean on data. Soundstage can be psycho acoustic manipulated in and around 10Khz and is in the master and controlled by the use of filters compressors and limiters. I LOVE CABLES but am not going to ignore mixing deck techniques and the relation between cable and transducer. The cable fans are worse than the companies because they hype this crap and spoil a perfectly fine situation. I love cables...spare me the bullshit fellas

Great video, thank you for your time and research! I'm new to this and would like upgrade my $60 Sennheiser HD1 in-ear for either Bgvp DMG or Dm6 due to your recommendations. I have a question though, is there a decent MMCX cable that comes with a remote (play/pause/forward/back etc) and preferably even a microphone as well that I could attach to the BGVP earphones? Thanks :)

Most folks who are into HiRes audio avoid inline controls in their cables. Not 100% clear why, but perhaps its because they introduce noise or interference.
@Pianist2035 жыл бұрын
I think cables do affect to sound on some circumstances. For example if you have power hungry iem, earbud or headphone which you're feeding with powerful amp, generic 4 conductor cable can very possibly be inferior to good quality 8 conductor cable. That's because 8 conductor cable has less resistance and headphone gets stronger signal from amp. In other words cable isn't "better" but more like "adequate", and 4 conductor generic cable is just not suited for that headphone. Cable is a "bottleneck" to certain point, but when cable is adequate, then I don't believe there's much to be improved, except aesthetics. My experience comes from my mmcx modded Grado, where 4 conductor Shure cable had leaner bass than 8 conductor Grado cable. Cheers!

Cable porn lol make some more please. I am so obsessed with these gold cables. Its like a jewelry with functionality. Especially the 3d braided ones are great to look at. Why KZ is selling them as upgrade cable when it doesn't improve anything? "Features: high frequency low frequency smooth, good texture, hierarchy, acoustic ascend obviously, close vocals, density of the defects if is also very good to make up for the high frequency, not too bright, be just perfect. Wire: 4 core at the heart of the ocean with a shield, silver wire Application: suitable for Custom 2PIN connector (0.75pin ) 4% silver tin solder: Cardus Soft: soft hardness" these are in their description for silver upgrade cable. Maybe, as you said they may reduce impedance for hard to drive IEMs like KZ ZS10.

I love cables, these are a good rec but that stuff is marketing
@sag29745 жыл бұрын
Bought this on your rec. What an awesome cable. Also got the DM6's, and they were fucking unreal too. But getting to the point, I noticed on the Head-Fi forum, lots of members swore that a pure copper cable was best for warmth on the DM6/DMG thread. You yourself even asked for a good copper cable rec. So, I'm a little confused. Does the material really make no difference, as you've said yourself, at all? Was your desire for that cable purely a aesthetic one? Just asking as I respect your opinion massively and enjoy your content a lot.

*45$ seems to be bit pricy(for me). May be its because most of the chifi's in my collection cost less than that. I used to buy yinyoo, trn 8core cables (7-9$) before. Now mostly order trn 16 core ones (9-13$ depending on the seller). So if someone want to go Budget you can try those. I think those are hard to beat at that price*
@lolikpof5 жыл бұрын
Hi. I was actually thinking of getting a TRN 16 core(or a Yinyoo 16 core) for my BLON 03, but... I read some comments saying that 16 core is pretty heavy and it can pull the earphone out of your ear in time(and BLON don't have such great fit), so I was thinking.. Should I get 16, or should I just take 8 core? Btw, I wear glasses, so idk if 16 will be too thick(uncomfortable). I haven't received my BLON's, so I don't really have any experience with "around the ear" cables. So basically what I'm asking is, in your opinion, should I take 8 or 16 core, and should I take with, or without the earhook? (If you could try walking around in sunglasses (if you don't wear glasses), just to see comfort-wise, I would be very grateful!)

Hi BGGA, I got my T2 just couple of days ago thru your rec'd on the previous vid. It is really a great pair of ear piece. As you'd said it's well tuned in balance EQ. I am used to V-shape but after listening this, well, it sounded really good and is really beautifully balanced. I've tried the original cable though is ok but after replacing with after market balanced cable it sounded much better. I'm glad I watched this vid at least now I understand is the resistance and impedance that make the audio sound improvised and that translate to better sound quality. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and your awesome advise.

Hello my friend. I gotta question that I hope you can help me with. Would the MMCX cable connection work on my Campire Atlas’s?? Reason I ask because I’m not sure if all MMCX connections are universal or standard fits due to pin diameter. If you could let me know if the linsoul works with the Atlas I’d be so appreciative. Thanks so much, man. 🎶🤟🏻

It's a mythe, that people (want to) believe that a cable makes the sound better. Because they spend (a lot) money to it. But it's not. Its pure marketing. The only thing is, that some tangles more than a other and looks nicer to you and it's more comfortable. That's it. Don't be fooled by cables. It's not worth, any money. Cables in audiophile systems is playing a rol, if they are more than 15 meters long.

2.5mm vs 3.5mm? Is there any difference in terms of the sound? I heard that 3.5mm is standard, but you got 2.5mm. I bought 3.5mm for B400 without knowing anything. @sebastiaanmartens92804 жыл бұрын
...... Lets start with i like your reviews........ And im aware that cabels dont enhench music, some cabels have more resistance and can make headphones sound bad (stock cable X2hr for example) replaced by stiff full thick copper interconnect cable and the headphone sounds warmer and a little slower/ thicker sound. I have different cabels for my in ears, not the beautifull ones you have their tho, Just the cheap nicehck c16 one in full copper one in copper silver plated, they Both sound a little different from each other. Mabey im Just crazy but i would like some one to graph cabels with iem to see if the freq response is really the same and thus confirm im crazy

I love "upgrade" cables too...just for the looks lol, bcz stock looks boring hahaha. Imho, it wont improve anything if u already have decent gear. You could say "oh the soundstage expand, imprv on low,mid, high" and so on but that just placebo effect. As long as the cable dont corroded or break then that just waste of money. Better tune the eartips with some memfoam tips or vary silicone tips brands
@azael8316 жыл бұрын
By the way. More cable core = more resistance no?
@iiscd59705 жыл бұрын
Less resistance assuming each core has the same diameter as the lower-core option. Shouldn't make a difference at all though because of how small cable resistances are compared to the resistance of the iems themselves (way less than 10% of total resistance in all iems I know of).
