It says everything in the video for the most part, all people gotta do is pay attention!

I WAS WAITING SO LONG FOR YOU TO SEE THIS 🤍 Edit: for 8:50 it’s a Korean pun! In Korean the word for lawsuit is 소송 (sosong), and the word for cow is 소 (so). So it is a 'cow song' (when a cow sings). The two syllables together make the Korean word Lawsuit 💀 hope this helps!

Suga had the hardest life (pre-debut) out of all members. At 13 he started writing lyrics and learning MIDI. His parents didn't support his passion for music. They were not financially stable and were being practical. They would even throw his lyrics to discourage him but Suga would sneakly continue to do it. "As for me... [my parents ]were very much against [me be coming a rapper] to make me consider [my choice],they hit [me] and fought, and things like this....so i made music[under those circumstances ] "I had some basic MIDI gear before entering the company ,things i'd bought as lyricist after saving up enough money by walking around 2 hours everyday and skipping dinners everyday." In his hometown, he used to work as a studio engineer while composing and performing in front of 2-50 people (he is part of a group called D-town then were he is one of the youngest). He worked underpaid ,sells his songs but often get scammed (getting away w/o paying). He said his parents never saw him performed back then. Suga went to Seoul at 17 to pursue music.A rural boy who went to Seoul, South Korea's capital city, even if many could not understand his dialect. Imagine pursuing your dream where no one believes you aside from your older brother. Where everyone told you that if you pursue music, you'll make your family broke. He only had one supporter that time, his older brother, to whom he would show his songs. When asked if his parents eventually gave him permission make music and Suga replies "Well.... before giving me permission ,i was already out and about doing music" He struggled financially in Seoul and admitted that before, he would have to choose between buying a two dollar noodles or using his money to take a bus (he will always choose to starve) .On wings concept interview he said that in the past,he had struggle to afford three meals a day. Q:"What happened in the past? " "I couldn't eat three meals a day it was hard" "When i was working in the studio,i arranged songs or make beats and even sold them. Then i naturally started to rap and did performances" Q:"How much did you earn? " "Nothing " Q:You said you're working though. "That's what it was like to work there. Usually we don't have any income. Working in the studio ,it was difficult to pay for food and transport .In front of the studio, there was a Chinese restaurant that sells jajangmyeon for 2,000 won,if i walked down further, there was a place that sells Janchi guksu for 1,000 won.I worry about it everyday. If i eat 1,000 won Janchi gukso,i could get the bus and if i eat jajangmyeon i would have to walk 2 hours to home. Even though it was tough, I want ro make music so i endured it." Suga/AgustD/Yoongi had nothing except his skill and confidence. He saw an audition poster(From Bighit) of a rap competition on which he participated and won 2nd place .On semi-finals ,participants were asked to perform same beat but write different lyrics but Suga modified the beat, not just wrote the lyrics which made him stood out. He was scouted later on. He is the only member who was already established producer before becoming a part of BTS. His parents couldn't support him in college for they were poor that's why, Suga worked part time jobs as well(at dawn) while maintaining going to school (at different times and end up sleeping most of the time because he's tired) and practicing as trainee .He also used to buy lottery tickets weekly because he was that desperate . When he was in college apart from working as sound engineer before, he had worked at a convenience store ,had taught composing an MIDI lessons, and another is that delivery job where he got into an accident (2012 pre-debut) and his shoulder got shattered .He didn't tell anyone afraid that the company will kick him out ,that's why his shoulder didn't heal right. This shoulder will be something that he will have to endure 9 years, later on. He told the members that he just fell down the stairs. Eventually the company found out about this injury and paid for his college tuition and hospital fees. Suga told the truth about to the member in 2018 "Burn the stage series". It's one of the factors as to why his mental health issues has worsened . It is music that save yoongi and it is also music which Yoongi lives for. (He's suffering for almost a decade because of that injury that didn't heal right. It even come to a point where it become a hindrance to his everyday life. He once said in an interview that when he tried to lift a 50ml bottle when they were filming a commercial, his shoulder hurts) Suga, undergoing surgery in November 2020 , is his decision because he wants to continue performing on stage .BTS dance choreography is no joke and if you watch them perform you won't think he has an injury he's enduring. Suga received injections often when he performs on stage.Had his shoulder dislocated often too. I couldn't imagine how he managed to perform despite of that. If he hadn't talked about it, fans wouldn't know that his injury is constantly acting up. This is only part of his hardships. He really had gone through so much shit to get where he is at right now. "Bang pdnim(their boss) told me I've become much brighter after releasing my mixtape,he even asked me where the incisive person full of wrath from before had gone. It was my complex and the way to solve it was music i need to make. Agust D is Yoongi's way of healing himself and people who also has struggles and feeling hopeless. Now half a year later their debut (2013) ,his parents havrle shown their support to him .Yoongi was quite a rebel kid,as his members describe him and he also admitted it himself. He said he regretted being rebellious towards his parents .Now his parents are very supportive to him.

I have watched this introduction video of BTS maybe hundred of times, I love seeing peoples reaction to learning about this amazing band. This is definitely an older video but its definitely a good place to start, I found it helpful , the updated version is great too but I found after watching this version the updated version was easier to watch just because it was filled with so much info of each one it could be overwhelming if you didn't know a little about them. So yeah now watch the updated version if you want. I also agree with you about Suga he becomes a totally different person when he raps, you can see this in born singer the stage mix if you haven't seen it already. You can just see how passionate he is when he does his part, I believe it hurt him deeply to be told he isnt a rapper anymore due to being an idol. I like how you gave them a chance and you want to learn more about them. Welcome to the army and happy journey into the world of BTS.

Here's info that some still aren't aware of: ❤️JIMIN, at age 11-12 started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy. Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!! So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to join, being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! But Jimin was so good that he was assigned the official title of one of the two Main Dancers, as well as Lead Vocalist. Jimin was even assigned most of the high notes since the very beginning, because even without all that training in the beginning, he was that good, a natural born singer who, just like his dancing makes you feel every emotion and feeling he's trying to convey! JIMIN, also, for 8 yrs, since a quite young boy, trained in various forms (4), of martial arts: Taekwondo (Blackbelt), Hapkido, Kumdo (Korean form of Kendo), & Chinese martial arts. He even won a scholarship, the only student to do so, to study more extensively in China for awhile! All the martial arts training has given JIMIN his phenomenal inner core strength, as well as his amazing flexibility, which has enabled Jimin to achieve all those breathtakingly spectacular gravity defying dance moves! JIMIN has found a way to incorporate all his various dance disciplines, as well as his extensive training in martial arts into his unique, ever so special, outstandingly amazing dancing abilities!! JIMIN, has been called 'Stage Commander', known for his amazing, so mesmerizing stage presence. Each dance move is executed flawlessly, his extensions all the way to the fingertips, his lines so clean, his fluidity, his poise & elegance, his ever so graceful moves, but yet, sharp, quick & deliberate when required! He focuses on every detail! Known for his work ethics and being a perfectionist to a fault, spending hours in the practice room, will study every move, even focusing on hands to fingertips. Even his facial expressions, or the look in his eyes! Every single detail he focuses on. Jimin tends to take in the music and interprets all the emotion & feelings, whatever it's trying to convey through his body movements as well as his vocals. JIMIN has now won the prestigious titles for 3 yrs in a row, for both KING OF KPOP, as well as also winning BEST TOP #1 DANCER IN KPOP, also 3 yrs in a row!! Jimin is also referred to as "Rookie's Bible" because all rookie idols, try to emulate & study every move he makes, trying to learn from him! Aside from all that Jimin has won other countless award, broken many records. His 5 solos have broken charting records worldwide, as well as being top seller, plus most listened to. Also breaking records for being #1 branding marketing idol, every single month for now, 3 yrs, a feat never achieved before, and still ongoing! The term the "Jimin Effect" is now in the Urban Dictionary! So much more as well but will stop here.

Jin is a revelation in the group. He may have that "innate" talent in him that was just waiting to be discovered and BigHit was able to uncovered that hidden talent. Jin came from a wealthy family and embrace the trainee days. He is a caring and loving member like when they were still in training and they lack funds and resources he would randomly treat all his members to dinner paying with the credit card his mom gave him while he was away for training. When JK was still studying he would prepared JK's school meals and would drive JK to school, and he also feeds him more often. When JK almost wanted to quit BTS because he misses his mom, Jin's love made him stayed. He was treated as a real family at Jin's house whenever Jin would bring him to his house. In their house (where BTS all eaually own and share) Jin rules the house and whenever members would tell him they're going somewhere he is so kind and would give them allowances, just like a real brother to them all. Like last year when Suga celebrated his birthday (after his surgery and recovery) Jin paid for their meals treating all the members and all their staff. He often cooks for all the members too just like Suga and yet so humble. During the pandemic he brought all his members to his uncle's strawberry farm and they all went strawberry picking because he saw his members sad and down when their concert tour was cancelled.

Actually Suga was the one who funded his family to open that restaurant, which was ironic because they were so much against his choice of becoming a songwriter that his mom even threw away his notebook full of songs that he wrote. He had to work part time so he can support himself while pursuing his music. That part time job cause his bad shoulder injury due to a car accident which he hid from Big Hits because he was afraid of being taken out from the group. He had his shoulder injury fixed when he underwent shoulder surgery last year. I’m glad he finally did. Suga had a lot of pain while doing their choreographies in BTS. I admire Suga’s talent and his personality.

32:22 just an info, the scenes where he plays sports (not counting the punching bag one) are from ISAC. It’s a sports tournament for idols and it’s owned by a korean tv program so we cant really watch those through Run BTS but some videos are available in their BangtanTV channel. They stopped going to ISAC years ago already though. They were champion for Men’s Relay I think 3x and during their last appearance in ISAC iirc they just decided to have fun and try different things so they didnt mind if they won or not which I think is also a nice way to spend the event.

3:47 haha, I won’t be hesitant to say I’m kind of proud of learning English language watching your videos as well, because as far as I’ve seen, you always really mean things that you say and often have some very smart, kind and deep thoughts on your mind that you can express into words without problems. One of my favourites was your talk about how a person should learn to love themselves before loving someone else. Listening to you talk about things like that sometimes feels somewhat nicer than some of my psychologist visits. Thank you very much for your content, you are a really smart, kind person mr. Linton

Great reaction, again! RM was teaching JK the meaning of "July" because he didn't understand the English word during an appearance on a TV show. In the next segment, both Jimin was "tasting" the air to see if something was burning. Jin's dad jokes require are actually brilliant, but require a knowledge of 2-3 languages (i.e. "How do you say don't fart in Japanese? Tonkatsu (don't gas) What did the dog say to the wall? Wao, wao (barking in Japanese)

You're so right about us creative's we're the hardest on ourselves. It's always 'it's not good enough I didn't do my best, I should change this bit slightly, practice this part one more time.' We get caught up in 'I can't do it'. It's way I can relate to Jimin.

The highest vocal pitch for a male singer is a countertenor. Soprano is generally only used for male voices when referring to children, like choirboys, but Jin does get praised a lot for his falsetto.

Around 8:45. You don’t get most of Jin dad’s jokes because they make more sense in Korean. The text added says somewhere in that sequence “jokes with bad/funny KOREAN puns.” For example, as a French speaker most jokes or puns in English fly over my head. At first I used to think, wait why do they find it funny? It makes no sense, but slowly understood it makes sense to them in English.

you should check out the books that namjoon reads:) i think you'd really love them! his taste in books his impeccable and they def reflect on the way or how he thinks. He read murakami books, classics like metamorphosis, george orwell, he reads feminism books as well like born 1982, psychology books like map of the soul by carl jung, and many more. I'll try to list some of the books that I remember reading bc of his recommendation. His philosophy in life is something to talk about and yea it sometimes reminds me of you and how you talk abt the things in life demian sapiens: a brief history of humankind into the magic shop when breath becomes air the art of loving midnight library the little price owl service that book by ursula k guin justice: what's the right thing to do catcher in the rye nature by ralph waldo stranger by albert camus the sci-fi classic, the hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy almond george nakashima walden human acts the unbearable lightness of being kitchen highly sensitive people ways of seeing and many moree!! iknow he was also seen reading a philosophy book but i forgot the exact one but it was from plato's philosophies. i also noticed he likes japanese literature a lot!!

The "Dad" jokes are really puns using both Korean and English. For example, "what is it when a cow sings?" Cow in Korean is "so". Lawsuit in Korean is "sosong", or cow song. and group cow song. When ever the production crew wants them to try and figure out some puns in Run, they tell them that they are dad jokes. Jin has thousands of them, but he doesn't use them much any more. After all of these years, he's kind of run out of them.

Since everyone seems to already recommend Rise of Bangtan series, I'm going to suggest another older intro series that delves a bit deeper into each member. It's from 2018 and dedicates a video to each member individually. My only criticism is that Jin's vid was glossed over imo but otherwise, it's a good series. Here's the first link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/emeVgXyYl7Ogjrc I enjoy rewatching these older introductory videos. As others have said, the info on this one is outdated and does pigeon hole the members in some stereotypes but does give a glimpse into their personalities that most current intro vids don't highlight (example: the 2021 Ida S or 2020 Asian Theory ones). Every fan made video will have its slight mistakes or biased slanting of course but overall are good at helping new fans learn more about the members. Thank you for this rxn! Looking fwd to the next one. 💜👍
