@@matthewgregory8218 He performed well on a brutal Sabres team so I think he can manage here just fine. According to advanced stats Boston's defense was worst than ours last year but they got bailed out by Swayman and this guy. He'll do at least fine here maybe even great

@@matthewgregory8218in the history of the franchise, Ottawa has not ever had a great goalie. Who is the best goalie Ottawa ever had? Lalime? Anderson? Neither one of those guys are close to an elite NHL goalie.

Pretty excited to get him! We haven't had a true #1 goalie in..... I honestly forget at this point. It'll be fun watching him get to play in 55-60 games this year! Best of luck to your own club in the coming season!

@@bradleybloklandI haven’t been this sad to see a player leave Boston since Joe Thornton left. Ully will play his heart out. I hope he’s got some good teammates around him. He can’t do it alone, offense needs to score goals and defense needs to clear the puck when he stops it.

Yeah as a Bruins fan this hurts. I really liked Linus a lot even when he played in Buffalo. I understand he unfortunately had to be moved and I wish him the best. I just hope trading him to a division rival doesn't come back to haunt the Bruins.

Boston did the right thing getting rid of him, Swayman is by far the better goalie..Ullmark is not a playoff goalie like Swayman..I doubt he will do much in Ottawa as a 1 year rental anyways..he is just buying time till he can go UFA and sign with the Bruins again at a more friendly number..or he'll go get overpaid in Toronto next summer cause because there is no chance he will sign his last contract in Ottawa
