Apps on Nobara have been a lot more stable for me than Fedora 40. I've had to do way like F'ing around with it to get things done and trust me, I have a lot of needs

WHY isn't FEDORA like NOBARA? I mean this is the way it should be (EASY for the Beginners) If FEDORA really wants to get lots of potential...this is the best way!

Had Fedora Workstation Plasma on my daily driver for 2 years now and LOVE it- most stable OS I've ever used. You should also look at Ultramarine- it is "bug for bug" compatible with Fedora. It is basically the same as what Gecko does for Open SUSE or Spiral for Debian.

Great video! I've also had issues installing the KDE version. Funny enough the GNOME version worked very well. I'm still using it to play steam games and practice bash on my main laptop. Any idea why there's this difference between KDE and GNOME?

well, one of my gripes against fedora is that kde has always felt like a second class citizen, and nobara is based on fedora, so.... maybe something there?

I tried it but there are too many little wrong move which could break something. I hate the bugs I see whenever I log in and log out. Those error messages that should not exist

I know Nobara uses almost the latest Nvidia driver so wont work on older Nvidia gpu hardware.

I might be late for this but ask the Nobara discord about using older versions (tho it might not work with drivers before the 510 as far as I know)

Is zupper on suse better than dnf in easy of use and the speed of downloading

imo opinion they are about the same. dnf5 (i think the most current) is a bit faster than zypper. but they are working to make zypper faster so it should improve there. syntax is very similar, dnf install *package zypper install *package dnf remove *package zypper remove *package you can also shortcut zypper commands like so: zypper in *package and zypper up is short for update and zypper dup is short for distribution upgrade (use this for tumbleweed updates)

No. I just can't figure it out . Sensors are working. Just doesn't do it.

No. It's working on plasma 6.0.5 on Nobara. It works with fedora plasma 6 too (which is probably why it's working with Nobara plasma 6).
