Hello Jordana, I am an astrologer from Berlin and I would like to add that Beyoncé is a rising Libra, so her ascendant is in Libra, as far as astrological sources say. And when I look at her chart, the Libra ascendant fits very well and it makes a lot of sense. But - as you've mentioned - she has her Mars in Leo in her 10th house, so her public persona is very Leo. But the most important thing is that her Mars conjuncts her North Node in Leo and the North Node is her soul's purpose and the commitment of her soul for this life. In her current incarnation she is supposed to develop to the Leo qualities.

This really helped me, when you said "maybe things arent supposed to be working right now." Because the lion is supposed to be resting. Since spetember, i was supposed to be resting. But i keep trying endeavors that are too big, in example, trying to go back to school in december then quit... trying to move to a new place then coming back wothin a month as of yesterday. I had attempted to start a new life in a different state last summer but came back a bit burned out.. and been trying to make up for it this whole year by moving forward but nothing has been working. But yet i feel like a king...

I think the Lion is my totem. I want to rest for a long time until I'm ready to take action because I don't like how society frowns on rest. But people frown on my laziness and tell me to do more work and put more effort into my school work when I want to focus on something that makes me feel good. Also my family treats me like a normal person when I want to be treated as special I even want people to do as I say and accommodate themselves to my lifestyle and not the other way around, just like how people treat cats and I'm not afraid to 'roar' about that. In my meditation when I asked my spirit guide to come, there was lion aproching to me and on my left was white lion on my right white lioness. After that roe deer come to us. We all played and hug and I started crying becouse there was strong connection between us. When I needed to say goodbye baby lion come to me with his mom. They gave me flower and walked with me back to awoken state. I didn't expect to receive animal guides. I never felt more loved in my life. This was amazing. I’ve had friends tell me over the years that I seem to exude the traits of the Lion. The irony may be that I don’t have any Leo in my birth chart at all. Although I am a Numerology 1, which some astrologists have said is similar to the astrological sign of Leo.

I commented on this video 6 months ago, and it seems insistent to be watched again. Although not as prominent as the animals currently in my focus, I've noticed an uptick in Lion's appearance. If more people gave themselves permission to do this when it felt right, we wouldn't have super-active, constantly-on-the-go-people having exhaustion/anxiety breakdowns at midnight and polishing off everything in their fridge! )

Even knowing my tendencies, that doesn't make it any less annoying, especially when I'm trying to catch up to coworkers. It makes me think of the street competition scene in the movie Sweeny Todd, where Todd spends most of his time preparing his tools, then does a quick, close shave. Some of us can just wade in and hit the ground running. The rest of us require a bit of a wind-up. I resonate most with a pug in the kennel that never wants to get out of bed. Ryder Carroll addresses this super-active, production-driven mindset you mention directly in his book. To paraphrase, "being busy" doesn't mean "being productive" or even doing anything well. As you've said before, sometimes the best course of action is stillness. I must confess that's a hard lesson to bear sometimes, and that it can be a struggle to know which of the two are best for you.

Ooooh, I hear you, Daniel. I've got a ton of Virgo in my chart, so productivity and staying busy are big themes for me...and they are themes that conflict with my Taurus sun, which knows that my best work comes from stillness and slowing down. I've found that the only way to know whether to slow down or push through is to really ASK myself how I am feeling about the work, i.e., am I avoiding it because I think it will be too difficult, or I don't think I have enough information to do it, or because I think that it will inevitably be pointless, etc. I just went through this with a book I'm writing, where I just kept dreading sitting down to work on it; I ended up hurting my back in the exact place that corresponds to feeling guilty about not moving forward on a creative project, and THAT made me finally take a look at the issue. Turns out, it wasn't that I didn't want to do the project, but that I had made it FAR more complicated than it needed to be, and that I was making it too hard. When I finally gave myself permission to do it the way I WANTED to do it, it suddenly became joyful and easy again, and I WANTED to work on it! In other cases, I've asked myself if I am blocking myself, and I get a very clear NO...The timing just doesn't feel right, or I recognize that I am too tired to focus properly and would be better served by rest. This is often a hard concept for people to swallow, but even work we would normally resist becomes something we WANT to do if we are SUPPOSED to do it; this is called "inspired action" (and it is solely responsible for any housework that gets done, because I hate housework). If we find we endlessly do not WANT to do stuff, it's either because we are blocking ourselves, or we really are forcing ourselves into a life that doesn't suit us. I hope that all makes sense! I'm still on my first cup off coffee...lol!

I always loved lions, my favorite animal for as long as I can remember. I always felt close to them. As a kid, I wanted to work with lions. I roared like a lion (I was actually known for being able to do it remarquably well). Royalty, power are one of the most predominents themes in my life. I study History and Always loved royal figures. As well in fiction with Kings like Aragorn in LotR. I have sometimes the feeling that I must build my own Kingdom or Empire (not literal, more like having my own house fully mine). When I learned about animal totems, I immediatly thinked Lion. We all actually have more than one totem (usually quite a few more!), so it is quite likely that Lion AND Tiger are your totems :) Each totem relates to a different part of our way of being, and to the different challenges we face in this lifetime in developing that part of ourselves. You're probably both, Lunair :) We all have more than one totem, because each reflects different parts of our core self and the challenges we experience in developing those pieces of ourselves. So it is totally normal to be BOTH a Lion Person and a Wolf Person, and more so one than the other depending on your situation and experiences at the time :)

I've stumbled across your channel whilst looking for an explanation about raven that resonates with me... And boy I found it! Thanks so much alone for that one. I've been been watching almost all of the totem animal clips since and it's been so inspirational and eye opening. I lived in Ireland for 13 years and discovered shamanic work there. This is actually accomplished via non-English subtitles, which can be added to any video. All a viewer has to do is click on the "CC" icon at the bottom right of the screen, and the subtitles appear. Went for a drive last evening and came across a field FILLED with Lions! Hundreds of them, all growling and wanting to eat the local residents who were cowering in their homes shivering with fear! After reading this, all I could think was that I would love to be a lion in that field filled with pheasants! LOL! We once had an enormous flock of starlings land in our backyard (HUNDREDS OF THEM), and Shawn quietly opened the back door and let Pywakitt out to see what he'd do. I've never seen such a happy cat in my life. He did the cat-stalk thing for a few moments, then bounded into the midst of the birds, jumping and chasing and chattering while birds flew every which way. He was slowing down a bit by that time, so we knew he wouldn't actually be able to catch any of them, but he had SO much fun. May your Field O' Pheasants bring you as much joy as a happy kitty in a flock of birds. LOVE YOU, my friend!

From my studies, my first inclination would be to say "No"; I would suggest instead that you very likely have some big Leo or 5th House placements in your astrological chart, along with placements that encourage you to identify with animals on a personal level. But to be honest, Spirit, I'm a die-hard believer in the whole "There are more things in Heaven and Earth..." philosophy. So if this is how you feel, then it may very well be true, and it is simply my limited experience that would lead me to suggest otherwise. If this line of thinking feels good for you, then hang on to it for as long as you'd like. If it's true, then wonderful, and if it is not, it certainly can't do you any harm.

So you may be a Lion Person and a Dragon Person both, with a handful of other critters mixed in there as well! Great video! The one thing I disagree with the Lion losing to tigers. Lions have to face way more adversity’s then tigers while hunting and can survive blows from hippos, buffalos, Giraffes, and hyenas ,Let alone other Lions. There’s even a video of 1 Lion killing a giraffe by itself by jumping high and grabbing its neck. Not only that but a lot of these animals are stronger then a Tiger, and Hyenas have more numbers and an equal bite force to Lions and Tigers.The death rate of Lions fighting eachother only increases when there is one Lion fighting multiple at the same time where as tigers don’t try to fight and would avoid unnecessary injury, while Lions are born fighters. The only real way for the tiger to kill a Lion is for the tiger to aim for the spine, the problem is not only lions have to deal with that from other lions and survive, but they aren’t ones to let there guard down so easily to give the tiger that opportunity, also the Lion only needs one great neck bite since the tiger doesn’t have a main to protect himself. Overall the difference in the lions and tigers are only slight, and the Lion has everything he needs to potentially win a fight. Thank you for providing a very informative video!

I think you may have missed the central thrust of my saying that a Tiger would usually beat a lion in a one-on-one fight, which is totally understandable, given your clear passion for Lions! The issue really has to do with strategy, rather than strength. Instead of just responding to the lion’s brute force attacks with brute force of its own, the tiger looks for the best place to bite or swipe its claws. The lion will just keep trying to muscle the tiger to the ground, eventually giving the tiger the opportunity to inflict that spinal bite (or a bite to another crucial area) that you mentioned. Now, this is only in the case of ONE lion vs. ONE tiger, which is not how they typically square off in the wild. There's a great article from Smithsonian on the subject, and they concluded that while one on one, a tiger would certainly best a lion, in the wild a lion pride could hold their own against a solitary tiger. Also the article showed 1 verifiable fight, and the others doesn’t have evidence stating the case besides the coliseum, even then there’s still accounts of lions beating tigers. comicvine.gamespot.com/forums/off-topic-5/lions-killing-tigers-over-60-accounts-1923534/ Also there’s my link, there are accounts of lions in a pride winning, but there’s a lot of accounts of 1 on 1 lions killing tigers, even with lionesses. But I do like what you said about the just going at it and someone being smarter, it’s just that even with lions there are very smart animals, and even when it’s multiple male lions against just 1 Lion the Lion is still able to put up a fight regardless.
