This is incredible upload. Orca is one of my spiritual animals and had dream of them lately. I'm starseed and currently on a new level of my spiritual journey. I resonate with the part of operating in truth, no complications or drama etc. I resonate on the part "they feel things very deeply and try not to let their emotions run them. We want to experience the full emotions but from a grounded balanced place". As an empath I try to ground via mediation daily and learning to observe and not keep absorbing others. I had a guided meditation for a past life regression, I saw myself as an inuit grandmother. I witnessed my last moments, I was warm, and was surrounded by family. Then I regressed further and saw black water, with a thick layer of white ice at the top. The Orca was frolicking with calves near by. I think I just met my spirit guide.... Thank you so much for this video. Orca has come to me every 7 years since I was 10. I just recently realized the pattern. I’ve never heard so much detailed info about orca and it fits me and my life and even my family. It’s interesting to have a lifelong totem like orca and then also have other animal guides that come in at particular times to teach particular lessons and then leave. I appreciate them all so much 🙏Thank you for the ending info on aging and menopause. I’m almost 39 and it’s a time of life I dread and fear. I'm 42, and so I *definitely* understand the trepidation around moving into a new physical and emotional stage of one's life! One of the things that really comforted me was that of my tight-knit group of friends, I am the youngest, with the oldest being in her mid-sixties. We all work out together ever day, and even though I'm very athletic and have been a gym rat for more than two decades, two of my girlfriends can lift more weight than I can, and one of my guy friends started doing triathlons in his 50's, and now, in his 60's, has been known to run two marathons a weekend!!! They are all healthy, vibrant human beings still Doing All The Things (just with grandkids instead of kids in two cases, and nieces, nephews, and dogs in the others!) who make my life better in every way just by being themselves. Unless I really think about it, it doesn't even occur to me that four of them are twenty years (or more) older than I. Also, I know plenty of women who have had virtually no symptoms of menopause, other than the diminishing and eventual ceasing of their cycle. So despite what we are often lead to believe, the more relaxed we are about the process, the more our bodies will change without histrionics, with that relaxation being reflected in our physical appearances as well. And so may find yourself having a positively lovely time and reveling in what life holds for you during and after this transition, with it all being far more beautiful than you could have expected! Wow, recently killer whales have been on my mind. I suddenly got a feeling that I should look up their totem meaning and this video spoke so accurately to who I am. I've always felt connected to orcas. I just had a space orca tattooed on my arm a few days ago. Someone made a comment that they prefer tattoos that have meaning. I responded it has deep meaning to me, and they said, like what. I tried to explain, but struggled. The best I could articulate was it represented love, emotion, family, and loyalty. I feel so strongly for them, but couldn't put it into words.

I love this.. and truly resonate with the Orca as a totem as well (amongst all of the others) .. the biggest difference however, is that my life began more like snake and in lived in “care” until 18.. my POD therefore isn’t my biological family, but I have created a Soul Tribe Group where we who are of like mind can be with one another.. ultimately I think why I wanted to write a comment is because there are so many circumstances that can deviate the “norm” in relationship to these totems... 🙏🏽

One of the things I always hope people understand with these videos is that my interpretations are not intended to be taken without a hefty dose of personal introspection and flexibility of thought. Some things will apply, some will not, and in the case of those that do not, a broader outlook can be applied, i.e., "Maybe this doesn't apply to me LITERALLY, but how could it be SIMILAR?" Which is *exactly* what you did so brilliantly in identifying that you still have a pod, but that it is made up of those who are your family in a spiritual sense, rather than a physical one. On the other hand, not all qualities of an animal totem will apply to all people, and so I also think it is EXTRA important that people use what resonates with them and discard that which does not, rather than trying to force it to fit. Jordana Van and come to think of it, I don’t believe I’ve heard you mention the many totems and the intention that we find balance between them all... I will say however, that the younger souls I work with don’t seem to have very many of them... at least for myself, it seems like I’m trying to bring those totems to the fore that are complimentary to this lifetime’s lessons.. though I do believe each came from a previous life-cycle so it feels like all of their awareness and previous lessons are being brought into sharper relief and I’ve been able to really understand the nature of this life’s struggles through understanding the relationship of the whole of my lessons (ps: I’m SO glad you can understand and get all of my conversation.. it is SUCH a relief to be able to share what I’m thinking without feeling like I’m coming across as a crazy person 🤦🏽‍♀️ .. Yep! :) We all have more than one totem, with each speaking to different facets of our being and the different kinds of challenges we face developing ourselves. Also, Orcas (which are a kind of dolphin) are called "the wolves of the sea", so it is often the case that someone who resonates with Orca will also resonate with Wolf. You are welcome! :) And not necessarily. When we dream often of an animal it is *often* a totem (a permanent spirit guide) or a temporary spirit guide, but not always. Dream symbols (such as animals) have their own unique interpretations, so when we dream of an animal, it's always a good idea to determine what it could represent in the dream. If it is a totem or a spirit guide, it will tend to show up in other places in your life as well, or you'll simply feel a special connection to that animal. Hope that helps! Xo, Jordana

OMG. This is so me! My family was christian when i grew up. And we were very isolated. I one time almost kissed my brother when i was 12. Hi, Dancing! Good question! Actually, no, it would not be cultural appropriation, as spirit animals appear in different cultures all over the world :) The WAY that a spirit animal is interpreted can depend on the culture, however. For example, in several Native American tribes, owls are symbols of death (or are otherwise considered "bad" omens). In India, owls represent a shyster, or a deceiver. And yet in the Western mainstream, owls are considered symbols of wisdom. When I do these videos, I examine the biological/social characteristics of the animal and apply a metaphysical analysis (So what does it mean in metaphysical terms if a creature has a super-high metabolism, for example, or if it is a solitary creature rather than one that lives in a group?). While I do look at the culturally based symbolism, I tend to avoid basing videos on this, as it varies so much from culture to culture, and I am striving for a more Universal application of the creature's message. Does that make sense? Regarding your second question, I'm not *entirely* sure what you are asking. Do you mean does a person's totem/spirit animal change? As in, they can start with one totem, and then resonate with another entirely? If this is what you mean, then the answer is technically no. If something is your totem, it is always your totem; you may just learn its lessons so well that it no longer needs to play a major role in your life. HOWEVER, we all have more than one totem (sometimes quite a few more!), so while you may start out working with Bear, for example, Bear may one day take a back seat so you can work with Seagull, or Chinchilla. That is not a stupid question at ALL, and in fact, I think more people probably need to ask, as it would cut down on a lot of confusion! When it's an animal totem, we're talking about a connection with an animal that tends to endure for a lifetime, though the sensation of that connection will wax and wane. The animal is a symbol for ourselves and our needed growth in a significant way, i.e., the characteristics inherent to that animal, whether physical, behavioral, mythical, related to our personal histories, or simply assigned by pop culture, align with different parts of ourselves (accepted or denied), and through lessons linked to that animal, we develop those parts of ourselves so that we can more authentically BE ourselves. We all have more than one totem, though I don't usually encounter people with more than 9, and 5 is the average. A spirit guide is a *temporary* messenger linked to a specific, transient issue (though that issue may still seem to take forEVer to resolve!), and we can have hundreds and hundreds of spirit guides during our lifetimes. So while a totem might help you decide what personal mountain to climb and help you cultivate the courage to do it, the spirit guide might help you navigate around a metaphorical rockslide while you're actually *on* the mountain, and once you've passed that particular issue, the guide goes on its merry way.
