On the magical island of Capri, known as the "pearl" of the Gulf of Naples, there is this exclusive luxury villa with a unique view that includes the Bay of Naples and the Gulf of Salerno. The villa is in a high panoramic position, offering sweeping views of the horizon and the enchanting profile of Vesuvius. Easily reachable from the port either on foot, with a pleasant short walk from the famous square, "la piazzetta", or by car from a second access, this prestigious estate boasts exclusive terraces that overlook the entire island, offering a unique view of its picturesque landscape and the blue sea.
The splendid private garden that surrounds the villa is a triumph of scents and colors typical of this area, including lemon trees, rose bushes and lavender, with majestic olive trees that offer shaded areas and undisputed privacy.
Built at the behest of the American symbolist painter and poet Eliu Vedder between 1900 and 1903, the property is a period property in Capri's typical architectural style that stands in the scenographic context of what is now known as Villa I Quattro Venti, famous for having contributed to the affirmation of the timeless myth of Capri. The villa, over time, has always inspired great artists and writers of international fame, who worked here on the drafting of their greatest literary works, including D.H. Lawrence, Joseph Bueys and Cy Twombly.
Recently completely renovated with great attention to detail and particular attention to the choice of quality materials, this two-storey villa measures 250 square meters.
Access to the big panoramic living room takes place from one of the two terraces with sea view: extraordinarily bright thanks to the high vaulted ceilings and big windows that open onto the leafy garden and beyond, towards the sea, it is completed with a kitchen and a spare bathroom. Part of the living area can also be used as a bedroom and thanks to retractable blackout systems it can become a completely independent room with bathroom and convenient wardrobes.
On either side of the living area, the two big terraces are perfectly equipped to be comfortably lived in at any time of the day. A third magnificent panoramic terrace is located on the roof of the villa, offering views of the entire island.
The sleeping area, also accessible externally from the garden through big French windows, includes two double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom.
Next to the main villa, pleasantly surrounded by the leafy garden, there is an annex currently used as a SPA area, embellished with mosaic coverings and equipped with its own bathroom, which could be easily converted into a guesthouse.

@@Lionard Grazie Stefani, beata te che fai questo meraviglioso lavoro. Io sono stata a Capri solo un giorno tanti anni fa. Molto.bello, ancora piu' bella panorama dalla villa della famiglia Sicca. Vittorio de Sicca era molto aprezzato nell' ex Jugoslavia, mio padre lo adorava, lo facevano sempre piangere i suoi film di grande umanita', cosi' da piccola ho imprato il suo nome perche' mio padre lo menzionava spesso parlando della sua grandezza, per lui era il piu' grande. Io nella Jugoslavia lo conoscevo solo come regista, solo quando sono venuta in Italia dalla televisione ho scoperto che era grande attore pure. Poi ho visto bellissima mostra dedicata a lui ad Ara Pacis a Roma, l' ha visto per 3 volte. Era un bellissimo uomo, peccato che non ha vissuto piu', purtroppo fumava. E' una leggenda! Anche foglio e' molto simpatico, mi fa ridere tanto. Ti auguro una bella giornata, oggi e' nostra Pasqua ortodossa. Tanti saluti,

I love the wisteria 0:48, I really can’t believe so much color, that plant seems to forget to have green leaves, it’s just purple bloom. The place is beautiful, Capri, the views are excellent, I have been watching Lionard’s videos for some time now, just to enjoy the beauty of the properties, they are always so well shot and edited. Even the day in this video seems to have been beautiful, I can’t believe they upload one every week. Stefanie is a great host, and her clothes are always nice but in this video she outdid herself, the dress is gorgeous and an excellent match for the surroundings, also her shoes. She does look a notch happier than in other videos, it must be the place.

I’ve been to Capri a few times and it has a special place in my heart... thank you Stephanie for this little trip and having walked around the island as well. This Villa is a gem, it’s so precious to be in walking distance to the Piazzetta, that’s where the magic happens! Is this property on the side of town that can be reached also by taxi? That’d be perfect. Oh, by the way.. what a dress!! Do you chose your outfit yourself? That was like.. wow! Love it

Hi James, I couldn’t bring you to Capri and not show some of the most marvelous spots of town! The property is close to the road so reachable by taxi with a short walk after and has lots of privacy! It is literally is a perfect position! The dress is beautiful I agree... I love it as well! Stefanie

Thank you Stephanie. I have not been to Capri but love the Italian coastline with its' contrasts of sea, mountains and beautiful buildings (Cinque Terre etc). A few questions: does the furniture stay with the villa after purchase? Also staff to maintain the gardens and interior are part of the asking price? :) 29/04/2121
