Lionel F-3 FRAME-A-PALOOZA Repainting & Restoring Dummy Bases New York Central Santa Fe MTH Williams

Perhaps now more than ever, it's important to look and feel your best. I have a variety of LIONEL F-3 shells that share bases, most of which have black frames and wheel trucks. Even though I have nice looking shells, sometimes the base is letting them down. In this episode, I'll take apart and repaint a bunch of LIONEL F-3 Dummy frames. It makes a big difference with and F-3.

Your paint policy is one I live by, except around here we call them six-footers. Six feet or more away they look great! But seriously your work always looks great no matter the distance, near or far! Well done!

I know that once you find something that works for you it's hard to change. BUT ....if you ever need some spray can Semi Gloss Black give Dupli-color LACQUER spray. I use it on my real car restoration, model trains and model cars. It, to me, is by far the best out there. As I understand it Lionel used lacquer paint in the 40's-79's so it is perfect....IMHO ONLY! BTW nice work.

Bob, you interested in a Blue Comet with all five cars. The mighty sounds of steam needs rewired or replaced, it stopped working. The tender has a corner solder melt area and the baggage car needs some adjusting on the track rollers because it will not stay on. THE engine is outstanding and honestly like 👍 is new. MPC Era. Let me know, it’s currently on Craigs List. Since you like trains. I am changing my layout focus a bit. The train is a beautiful runner! OUTSTANDING VIDEO🔥🔥👍👍🙏

Hi, I checked out the photos in your craigslist ad. I think I’m in the same position as you are with focusing more on diesels. It’s a nice set though. But I wouldn’t really know what to do with it. I’m trying to downsize my collection too. But thanks for letting me know about it.😀
