Lionel Legacy PRR FA-2 Set Added to the Collection

I've garnered a bit of a reputation for not being the biggest fan of newer era Legacy locomotives, but I found these Legacy FA-2s from circa 2015 still sitting on the shelves at one of my local hobby shops for a good price and had to get them. I hope this video does the locos justice because I do like them a lot. I hope Lionel soon goes back to painting their Pennsy engines accurate colors that these FAs showcase.

Tamiya paint is absolutely the best in my humble opinion. I like how it lays out and dulls very nicely. Those are sharp engines makes me wanna keep the FA-2s that I have.

I absolutely agree I love Tamiya paint. I've tried other brands but nothing has really stacked up against Tamiya for me.

I have the same set with a powered B unit and a Superbass Alco demo . They look great!

Nice set! And I agree, the Lionel rear ladders that are bent out. Maybe it's for a lower radius curve I don't know. I have the LIRR CAB models and I've straightened them out since it more prototypical. Subscribed.
