He is from argentina but got scouted by barcelonas team In a young age and moved to spain. He grew up in barcelona. There and as a young guy (18-19 years old) he took the role of a legend in his last years in prime, ronaldinho, and is the greatest player today and stays loyal to barcelona. The thing about this dude is that nearly every game is highlight reel worthy. Especially when it comes to dribbling runs. Every game he beats 3 or 4 or 5 dudes in a row. He is seriously incomparable. Maybe Pele was as good, I don't know, there isn't a lot of footage. But Messi outshines everyone else by a huge margin.

choosetolivefree well... ronaldo doesn't have the same playstyle and have in mind that he's 6 feet tall meanwhile messi runs between playes legs. Ronaldo might not be able to dribble through 4 defenders and score but he's stronger, faster, better at headers and much more. They are both great players, i mean just look at their stats. And believe me, you don't need a player who can dribble past many defenders, you need a player who can score 3 goals in a final and win you a trophy, that's what football Is all about. Dribbling past players do not define greatness.
