Leo also had a great final against Chile, created two of Argentina's best chances and was arguably the best player on the pitch. Ironically then, it was Messi who blasted his penalty over the crossbar and Argentina lost another final, probably Lionel's saddest moment of his career.

Even though this was the "easiest" of all tournaments, I also think this was his best one. Still remember that I couldn't sleep at all after that f*cking final and his announcement of him leaving the national team. As he more or less secured the Golden Shoe, I hope he won't play the upcoming matches with full commitment. Sounds weird, but from day to day I get more optimistic about Argentina winning the WC, although if Spain & Argentina finish 1st in their groups, they will face each other. And obviously great work as always mate :)
