Lionel Messi Deserves Ballon d'Or In 2023

In 2022-2023 Season Lionel Messi played 54 Matches, scored 38 Goals and assisted 25. He won three major trophies - League 1, French Super Cup & World Cup 2022 in Qatar. Back in December his pivotal role in the World Cup Finals brought 3rd title to his national team and a long awaited victory was achieved. His contribution in the World Cup win was priceless 7 Goals & 3 Assist and he scored in every knockout game including the final against France.
With 63 Goal contributions and 3 major trophies in 2022-2023 Lionel Messi is expected to win his 8th career ballon d'or to cement his greatness once and for all.
A little while ago he announced that he will continue his exceptional career in MLS joining Inter Miami. Meaning that only several years of Messi Magic is left to enjoy.

When it comes to him versus holland, Halland is a wonderful Goal scoring machine that simply doesn't score great quality goals, or goals from outside the box, as a majority are tap ins, and that's ok, that's who he is. He ghosted in 4 finals with Manchester City, but he also plays for a team that literally won a league title without a striker, possibly the best team in Europe without him. When it comes to Messi there is simply just not another player that can do what he does. A World Cup and multiple other titles this year show for themselves, but what I find most mesmerizing is the passing, playmaking, and shooting. His passing this season is like xavi/iniesta, and watching his games his playmaking is unique and the best in the world along with De Bruyne. On top of that the QUALITY of goals he scores is what sets him apart: Not many tap ins, various long shots, free kicks, wonderful finishes- It's the type of stuff statistics don't show- the quality of what he does.

I have a recount of the goals of Messi and Haaland, Messi scored really good goals and did 28 assist (34 goals) Haaland 9 assists (52 goals) but Haaland, 40 of his 52 goals where by assists, he only needed to push the ball to the goal and another 8 goals where of penalty so he just scored betwen 3 and 5 good goals, Messi scored 9 goals without being assisted, 5 of penalty, 20 being assisted and 4 really good goals of free kick, Messi is the true GOAT

Here's a crazy fact about Messi last season he only went 3 games in a row without contributing to a goal and in 2 of those 3 games he was man of the match not to mention he had more than double man of the match awards compared to second place no one was more consistent and that was all from picking the ball up deep if you think Messi wasn't the best individual or most consistent player your only reading stats and not actually watching the players
