I'm glad that the brilliance I saw on the pitch was genuine and not just some formality as teammates or even colleagues. That first season of this trio was pure magic. They flew over every team in UCL with an ease never seen before or after. After that, the team remained unchanged and they were less hungry for victory, perhaps too infatuated by their obvious superior talent. That's why UCL is treated kinda separately when it comes to winning it or records. Now you have 6 games in group alone so you can end up with some random guy in shit team scoring more UCL goals than Di Stefano without going past 1st stage. Also sextuple is such an overrated thing to begin with when winning 2 trophies is literally 3 games and 3rd trophy is against teams from leagues that are 4th tier in Europe at best.
