Why on earth did Messi think like had the right to be angry? First of all, Lewandowski’s “comment” turned out to be twisted by some journalists. Second, even if Lewandowski indeed had said that, he was very right. Messi voted Lewandoswki only the third in the 2020 FIFA best player. So Messi believed Lewy deserved the Ballon D’or but not the FIFA best player? Why? What’s even more egregious, Messi didn’t vote Lewandowski at all in 2021 when he even put Benzema the third (who had 0 trophy and 0 individual award that season).
