Messi is the most achieved footballer in history but what makes him even better is that he is such a good human being. A very rare combination which you can see in sports. Regarding people not seeing Messi as a leader, it's because he's generally a pretty shy person. For years he barely showed emotions on the pitch. He didn't speak much. Barely ever did interviews. He left the talking to other teammates on and off the pitch. But as time went on and his former captains retired, he became the natural captain, and some people just can't really imagine him in that role. But during the 2022 World Cup, he really showed what a leader he is.

I’ve watched all WC finals from 1990 onwards and this one was definitely the best one. It had everything, goals, comebacks, drama and penalties. The second goal of Argentina it is probably the best counterattack goal ever, from the moment Argentina recovered the ball until DiMaria scored are only 9 seconds.
