One of the best things Katy ever did was host SNL and instead of also being the musical guest, the musical guest was Robyn, who was her opening act at the time ( this was back in 2013 or so). I enjoyed her performance so much that I went out and bought her CD. "Call Your Girlfriend" was my favorite track, and I listened to it everyday.

Did you see Michael’s face for the first few seconds, before he realized Lionel Richie wasn’t going to make fun of him, and was being nice. Then he smiled, his famous smile. Lionel is such a kind hearted person and I have never known him to cut for a laugh. He is polite and kind and such a marvelous musical artist.

You're right. Jackson is just a nervous teenage kid. Then, when Ritchie so ineptly shows off the moonwalk, Jackson looks like a high school kid who has just invented a new skateboard trick or something. He looks like HE's proud of this skateboard trick, but surprised that this OLD guy likes it -- AND...he's delighted that the old guy "can't DO it" (which is a gift that Ritchie gave to Jackson up there). Ritchie is a class act all around. We need people like Lionel Ritchie in government -- or INVOLVED in government. As Secretary of Education or something.

I went to see Lionel Ritchie in 1984. He was great & hilarious at the same time!! 😂😂 He was always referring back to Michael Jackson through the show and pretending the moonwalk and got a ton of laughs!! Then at the end he did a perfect moonwalk and the crowd was twice as loud!! 😂😂. I’m almost 60 now! Still would go see him.
