Gosh I always loved Lionel as a person, cause he has such a positive energy and he has a lot of love for everyone he cares about and other's too. I commend him for taking in Nicole and raising her as his own! I'm adopted and I was adopted by great parents and I'm grateful everyday cause so many abandoned kids end up having a hard knock life, foster homes with abusive foster parents or institutions where nobody gives a flying eff about you. I love him just for that alone, but for so many other things too. He's a amazing father and person. God bless him and the whole fam!

You're 100% right! It eff's with you knowing you were abandoned and you always have that black hole in your heart feeling like you're unwanted by those who made you and gave birth to you. But thankfully she had Lionel who took her in and showed her she was wanted and he loves her like his own. I commend him for that and he turned her in to a beautiful amazing woman :)

I dealt with that exact same thing I went in that hole and walked right out and I cut off my supposed “friends” that kept using me for rides and drugs. I’ve never went to rehab but I did what I had to do to make a better outcome for myself. It’s not easy and I’m glad I heard this story because I felt like I was doing it alone.

2:08 He's right. My bff used to be into raving, partying, doing drugs and drinking and dating the wrong guys. One day on the way home from a rave, her drunk ex crashed and everyone nearly died. They had one too many people in the car and therefore one of those people actually broke her neck. My friend also almost died of alcohol poisoning the year after. She's sober now.

If I didn’t have Lionel’s music growing up that gave me the hope of the Love I didn’t have given to me or my brothers, I have no idea where I’d be.. KC Taylor Lol does it really matter? I have friends who are lighter than me, and I am Asian. I have Asian friends, my self included when tan we look black. Genetics is like winning the lottery you never know what you’ll end up with. I have friends who are half white and Asian, but you can’t tell by looking at them. Judging someone by their looks is like the most basic and dumbest thing you can do. Sofia doesn’t look “black” either and she is his biological daughter if you go by skin color etc.
