Kona Vlog 7 || The Boys Are Back In Town

In today’s vlog, Lionel kicks it off with his "Breakfast with Bob" interview, sharing some of his pre-race thoughts. After that, the Norwegian boys are back in town, and they hit the open water for a swim session with Lionel. It’s always fun when they’re around, and today was all about getting in a solid swim before heading out for a long run through the lava fields.
We’re dialing in the pace and testing out nutrition with race day right around the corner. Another day in Kona, another step closer to the big show.

LEGENDS of the sport united! The best sleeps and next day performances I have is with white sushi rice cooked in a rice cooker served with sugar and water. Unlimited amounts. That is my go to dinner.

When KB has a physique like Bert, it makes me feel like I have a chance in this sport. I raced StG, WC, these guys were finished with the race and I was still on my bike, nuts. Daniella was at the finish and I got my finisher medal from her. I also got a pic with Lionel at T2 when he was dropping of his run bag, I was walking near to him, the first word he spoke I immediately recognized him. I have both Lionel's and Daniella's photo next to my trainer, what a great sport with great people.
