I think that it is sad, that unlike water buffalos, these stupid zebras don't have the sense to fight back. There is power in numbers. Ive only seen one video of a mother zebra successfully fighting off a lioness that was attacking her baby. They have powerful kicks and that is what the mother did in the video I mentioned. Right in the jaw of the lioness.

There are several videos, where a single lioness brings down a grown zebra without any problems. Also buffalos quiet often pay with their own lives while trying to safe a member of the herd. In case of the zebras evolution obviously rewarded the "better him than me"- tactics.

@@wurrwurr Yes, we know this. My only statement is if they were smart, they would work as a herd and more thank likely be incredibly successful, but clearly they aren't smart enough to realize power is in numbers like water buffalos.

If you see the last second more lions are coming maybe if it was just one lioness and they built the strength to do so but this was captured on film guys imagine how many times this happened n still happening they don’t call them predators and prey for no reason.

@@hit8000 Yes of course but I’ve seen plenty where there is just one lion and Zebras just watch from a distance. Water buffalos aren’t always successful working together, but many times they are. I did see one famous video where a single lioness took down a zebra’s baby and the mother came roaring back and kicked the lion in the jaw and both baby and mother escaped.
