Taylor's role as Cody is perfection. It's how a senior operator is supposed to look, always damn calm even if a whole platoon is charging at you. Sheridan is really the best we've had in years and he deserves every prize for his work. What an inspiration

I understood the mission to be to eliminate the 2 Chinese nuclear scientists and to do so in Iran. I watched the episode but this mission goal was not clearly shown to be accomplished. There was quite a bit more emotional drama during this fight that had more or less not been in previous episodes which seems to make it less realistic. I like the series well until this episode that seems to go off its intended goal of accomplishing the mission…. Maybe I missed something?

All because of a grotesque fight scene where the main people escape without human losses. As they confront soldiers of the “Iranian army”. How can a squad of less than 10 soldiers decimate around fifty Iranian soldiers without one of them succumbing?? RIDICULOUS

The operation took place just inside the turkish border in Iran but for unexplained reasons the Delta team had to be located 20 minutes further away instead of being at the same Iraqi base as the gang and the air support couldn't just be on standby just inside the Iraqi border 2 minutes away?

Omg on that climax ending. Almost certain death for the team when they opened what looked like a hornets nest. Gotta like Sheridans character. Serious adrenaline rush with the convergence of the enemy right on top of them, Josie’s scream, oh man! Funny that Joe didn’t bleed out, hell of a job on those stitches Doc. Oh yeah, and Neal , you should’ve been down the road and left her in the dust!

Answer: It's an American show. Realism is flimsy when it hurts our image. Great TV show! I thoroughly enjoyed it for its entertainment value. However, an important note: the finale's big showdown, particularly the gunfight, was highly unrealistic-grossly so.

I liked that the 2 50 cal machine gunners were in open turrets while all the Iranian gunners were behind completely shielded turrets but apparently their plot armor was better.
