Audio book? I used ro manage computer departments, was very clever. Now, with cognitive dysfunction i can't remember sentences, can't follow a plot, so, audio books. To remember any film I need to watch 6/7 times. Or, you'll need to read on a podcast. Here we have the, Equality Act 2010, America the ADA? So aren't you required to nake a reasonable adjustment? Anticipate the needs of disabled people? Your ADA prior to 2021 screwed veterans with Assistance Dogs, you call them Service Dogs? Service Dogs in tge UK are more regarded as "dogs of rhe realm, military, police, fire, etc. So, any vets charged to bring a service dog into LHR, you have a case. I've got all the documentation you need. You see, in the UK, mental health assistance dog's are recognised, we have a different definition, rhey are auxiliary/mobility/auxiliary aids. No "task" training required. Your Assistance Dog International ADI, created this shit, and our shit governments failed to audit ADI, they are not compatible with EA2010. Austria deemed them discriminatory. Wanna bright tour, service dog to the UK, Land in France and Eurostar over. The bastards now have legal policies, all are accepted.

Leadership matters. Buck listened to advice from a subordinate and then accepted and took-on the plan. Ultimately, it was Buck's decision to listen and then to decide to accept the advice. Failure or misfortune would have been Buck's responsibility alone. No leader has all the answers but surrounds himself with trusted advisors. Those advisors often have the luxury of less pressure and so their brains are more free to contemplate solutions without having to consider other factors.

Bro, FOB Shank was no joke. I still have a piece of mortar sitting in my room that was like inches from taking my fuckin head off. Me and a battle buddy were in one of the shacks like 300 yards from the area with the Haji shops and the main DFAC. We had IDF close, and we scrambled to one of the bunkers. I grabbed this dude hoofing it from the showers and slipped on the gravel. This huge piece of mortar was ganked into the concrete t-wall infront of the bunker where my head was like seconds before I slipped.

Pretty much every person I've talked to that has a profession heavily featured in TV (seems to always be cops, military, law, firefighters and doctors) have told me shows and movies have been ruined for them. My nurse friend couldn't watch House or any other medical show without cringing. My firefighter friend said Chicago Fire gave him brain cancer. Also no offense to Buck but the show portraits CIA Special Activities. He references them as "Special Operations units" CIA SA teams are not special operations, they're fucking CIA. CIA does whatever the hell they want. And the start of the show only has two females, not three. The main lead is a CIA spook, not a door kicker. So this whole jargon about two females in a team of dudes being in the team is dumb. Buck was SF - he knows nothing about what CIA does, none of us do.

I guess I just liked the actress (Laysla) :D And I didn't think the movie was about military tactics, but mostly about the agent's inner struggle with completing her assignment. When I watch movies like this I don't focus on all aspects of the movie, I just ignore what's stupid and try to view it from the character's point of view. What I would like to know if it was possible for an agent to feel so disillusioned and with no sense of accomplishment after completing her mission, because she had to kill someone (after understanding what he had done and the importance of the mission). Like what is the mindset of a soldier who looses faith in the rationale for the operations they are conducting and how they deal with it internally. I don't think I've ever seen something like this in a movie. Not even a small satisfaction for pulling off something difficult and barely escaping with her life. In many movies it's a mixture of satisfaction and regret (for betraying her friend). I don't expect many movies about covert agents to be realistic. The movies that I'm finding hard to enjoy now are action movies with many fights (unelss it's like John Wick level), because I'm starting to understand how unrealistic most stuff is. With spy movies, I focus only on what I find interesting and disregard the rest.

When I was appointed an armband as a squad leader by one of my DS, all he said was “Bitch you ready.” Only guy to not be fired from a leadership role from 2nd week until graduation. During our last PT test he was actually focused on me because he was looking for me before the run part. Looks me in the eyes and told me “ go get it n dust this mother fker.” He was tracking my score and notice I had a chance to break 300. Just by him acknowledging n tracking my score did give me that much more motivation to max my run. Ended up maxing my run by 15 seconds n winning highest PT. When u have a DS that lowkey pushing u to succeed, it makes a world of difference.

there' definitely a feel-bad-about-the-Military agenda. But the review got a lot of stuff wrong. Like, I want to defend the real military vs the fictional portrayed but the real military guys doing the review embellished so much that I can't really defend them. If that makes sense... it's just all bad all around now. "Attention to detail" ...yeah, right! pls. it's a joke. The attention to detail is crap. You can say a movie is bad without needing to make sound like everyone who works in fast food, is the same as prostitution. And the US military is a joke and all your people are terrified of the potential local pimps. That's just really sad, man. They basically just added unnecessary bad made up stuff to the plot. Why couldn't we just stick to the actual plot line and had to make up stuff? I don't know.

I don't know how much you watched of this, but I'm a bit disappointed as there are several more military scenes later in the show that I would have really liked to hear your take on (even negative) - when they rescue a prisoner and do a terrorist house takedown inside the US, the interrogation training she goes through, and the final episode where they go after the main bad guy. There is a lot of cringe and family time that really slows the show down - depends what you are watching for I guess. Maybe I am mis-remembering it but my understanding was that they had an opportunity to go after a major bad guy and no one that had the right look/background so they had to grab a woman out of basic and train her up (I see more training later in the show). Probably crazy and not real but I accepted this is why she was moved so fast into it.

But I have question for you guys, have you seen tv show Strike Back based on Chris Ryan books? Especialy from season 2 where cast have change and there were 2 main characters. I ask because from all "military" films and tv shows this one of few that I can respect of what i'm seeing. Beside whole cast was traind by SAS and SBS instructors and you can see it when they do cqb. This is statement by one of main actors: Winchester recalled his training experience, "[Sullivan Stapleton] and I would meet every morning at 6am. We would run to a chosen location and on the way we had to memorise street names and directions and then our trainers would say 'that car that you just passed what was the licence plate number?' Our trainers were ex-SAS guys who made us study everything in detail, for example, we learnt step by step how to enter a room in twos, then alone. At the same time, we had to be constantly aware of where our weapon was trained."

How about designing a pack that can be used on the rack/ frame you're selling (if you can do better than the gov. contracts). Turn the Ruck Trainer into a future investment that is not only effective, but also tangible (people like playing with kit). I see people purchasing your product, but not having much use for it after it has served its purpose.

Odd because Tulsa King is like the opposite. But dude has a billion shows out, no way he’s actually spending any time on them individually. Just basically the new Dick Wolf.

I like your channel but respectful feedback. The first 10 minutes worth of this video, you’ve reviewed 20 second (maybe) worth of the show?

Not to mention that he was a marine drill instructor the first thing they tell you is the "first word out of your mouth is sir and the last word out of your mouth is sir" I was army and we refer to them as drill sergeants. Try calling an DS /DI sergeant in basic for both army and marines. Forget that all branches.

A 99 on the army physical fitness test sucks a 300 is great. Also, in Marine Corps Boot Camp drill, instructors are referred to as sir not drill. Sergeant.

I actually liked the show. Probably because i was able to set my gender bias to the side. The "agenda" is to show that women can also do what men do, if afforded the opportunity. This show is offensive to people that abide by the social con-struct (of gender roles) they were assigned by people within their culture.

The militairy had allready lowered their standards and there still is no all female squad of anything in any branch, so the reality is that woman are not capable of doing the same as men in this profesion.

I hope Sean finds time to actually finish The Terminal List as the rest of the episodes show why the 1st episode seemed off and why he was acting so strange

She wasn't a prostitute she use to be a stripper but didn't like everything involved with being a stripper.. So she got a job where she didn't have to flaunt her body.. What I got from the first episode was that she gives it her all in what she is doing no matter what.. Yeah she was that guy's girlfriend but she knew her value and that she deserved more.. They can't break down the whole process of getting to the position the show is based on in more episodes.. We all know it doesn't happen overnight and I didn't assume that..

Recruits call the DRILL INSTRUCTORS sir. And a female maxing out the male PFT is impressive.

Marines do not have Drill Sgt's. They have Drill Instructors. Never ever call a Marine Drill instructor a Drill Sgt. It is worse than calling a Marine a soldier.

Yup especially when you realize the military had to drastically lower standards in order for them to qualify. Even after this most women fail to make even basic infantry. There's like zero women in spec ops rofl. MAYBE there's one or two that has more testosterone than half the guys out here.
