Why The Lion Calls

Inspired by a true story and the Lion Guardians organization, "Why the Lion Calls" is a short film by writer/director Andrea Heydlauff about a young Kenyan boy who wants to grow up to become a Guardian. Produced by Panthera, Nick Hall Productions, and Lion Guardians, the film is a finalist at the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival competition, widely considered the most prestigious honor in natural history media.
