He didn't post proof but his intuition was right, Lionhart and Lexani are made and sold wholesale through Turbo Tires Wholesale based in L.A. With that in mind, given the choice between two similar wheels, getting the more expensive one will not necessarily give you a better ride/more tread life etc.

I came across a 2013 Court case where Toyo sued many Chinese brands including both Lexani and Lionhart (both under Turbo Tires Wholesale) so you're right, they probably both copied the tread pattern from a Japanese tire company.

FOR EVERYONE WHO GOT DISAPPOINTED OF THIS VIDEO AND SEEKING A BIT MORE INFORMATION: Lexani is better, but Lionhart aint that far, but as the video title says "Who is better" then heres your answer. First off, they have been around since 1996 not very long but they have proven themselves, the main intention of the owners is to provide luxury products on all cars, they have worked with a lot of car brands/models ever since they came about. secondly, they have a WIDE range of tire selection that are both good quality and affordable, they are luxury for a low price. i have seen lots of people build their cars, wether it be sleepers, stance etc.. now i wouldnt go as far as comparing this brand to pirelli Cooper, Goodyear and Dunlop, but certainly not far from Hankook, Ohtsu, Nitto and Falken. So if you guys are looking for something in the middle of Pirelli and Ohtsu, then go with Lexani. i dont own Lexani tires, i have BFGoodrich 215/55r17. but ive looked into a lot of wheels and im still debating if i should go with Lexani or Nexen for my stance car. Hope this helps.

I think this was the answer I was looking for. I've been eyeballing and researching four different tires for my Ram 1500 4x4... the Milestar Patagonia XT, the Crossmax AT-1, the Lexani Terrain Beast AT and the Lionhart Lionclaw ATX2... After a lot of searching and researching and looking at videos and pictures it dawned on me that the Lexani and the Lionhart were essentially identical (or the advertisers were mixing up the pictures or using the exact same pics for both). I even went down to a tire store that advertised them hoping to get an actual hands on look at both side by side. They had a set of the Lionharts on hand but not the Lexani. They're a good looking tire. I began to suspect that maybe they were made from essentially the same mold and now after finding your video I'm even more convinced that's the case. Thanks for the info. Would be nice to know if they're truly the same. Do they use the same rubber formulation etc? Do they have the same ratings? Do they perform identically and stand up the same, last the same (do they have the same mileage warranty)? Would love to see a current video comparing those four tires mentioned above... in a 275/60R20 (stock, essentially 33s) or a 275/65r20 (essentially 34s... which are what I'm leaning toward if they'll fit...)

I always used Lexani on my 24s and still do to this day. Now on my truck i bought the AT tires they make. So far they are good, smooth, and look very nice at 1/2 the cost of toyo or nitto. 90% of trucks with MT or AT tire dont use them for the intended purposes so why pay $1200. Im sure theway i take care of my tires that ill get 40k miles. At 1/2 the price i will be super happy with lexani...

I've had both in a 225/30/zr20..Basic everyday normal driving and the occasional put ur fuckin foot in it and both name brands lasted on my Elantra for about 2 years..Then ripped the tread on the innerside(both name brands) Nice looking tires but pay a few dollars more for something else people..

Ummm you need to do more research and talk to your sales reps more....Lexani wheels and Lexani tires are 2 different businesses😂 Don’t offend Lexani wheels...they are considered a high-end luxury brand. As for Lexani tires they are the cheapest budget friendly tires and they are owned by the same company as Lionhart.....Not the best out there but I have yet to have a problem with them. Going in to 30 years of business

When I got my Lexanis they were meant as a stop gap to clad my new wheels, until I would upgrade to something like a set of Michelin Pilots, or similar. I've been driving them daily for two years, and I love them. No buyers remorse from me, and being able to have a set of four for just over $400?

This guy is corny. First off they're not the same company. Secondly Lexani has factories in USA, China, and Thailand. It's guys like this, that have ensured the USA is behind because of they're racist takes while they use "Chinese" assembled and made products i.e. computers, phones, ect. because we don't make any. Lastly, a whole country doesn't designate "quality". It depends on the what the reseller orders..if the American business men want high quality, then order it..but most want maximum profits and their greedy, so they order the cheapest thing and then blame China.

Nankang are GARBAGE ... I purchased 4 tires, All 4 are NS25 series, two 235/40/17's & two 255/30/20's and all 4 have flat spots on them NEW ON ARRIVAL and the two 255's are not CUT even across ... The outer portion of the tire has more rubber than the inner side.. Both sets of tires cause vibration at 55 mph .. !!! I thought maybe i got a bad set, but then i thought.... 4 tires, 2 different sizes and ALL 4 have defects ... Not a bad set, just SHIT tires ... Maybe one was bad then OK but all 4 have defects ..??? I don't think so.. GARBAGE
