*Update after part 9*, lionheart has since beginning of the Lp Won 13 battles and lost 2 battles. He fought 9 battles himself and auto resolve 6 battles. He killed 16827 men of the enemies and lost 10968 of his own men.

What I really love about Attila is that you can choose to migrate and move your faction anywhere on the map and expand from there.

Shouldn't doing that increase everyone's loyalty? I know I'd do anything for a king who'd just had someone castrated for being disloyal!

Mighty harsh on Ragnar, his loyalty was at 6/10 anyways man, you could have coped with the control loss. Both Lothar and Humbli (faction heir, not sure if I got name right) should look for wives from the Iberian factions, rather than having to bankrupt you treasury to get the Roxolani or Ebatani on side. Finally, can you marry off Humbli's illegitimate daughter to a faction in return for a marriage to one of the boys? or to cement a peace deal with the caledonians, allowing you to push south into Gaul after you destroy the britian faction?

Looting and occupying is always profitable if you do it correctly though.. I loot and occupy most of the time with some factions and probably everyone who does it does it for 3 reasons: 1- You get good money from it. 2-You gain even MORE money from dismantling buildings until level I or 0. 3-You get to build the settlement exactly how you want, which is far better than the AI considering income and everything else. If that's not what you want to do it's just not worth looting and occupying, yes you gained a little bit of money from it, but that public order though.

In this case you did it to one of your best, made his wife useless because he won't get any kids, made him lose influence while he is high up on the social ladder, and all of that while he already had 6 loyalty! He was fine you didn't need him to be at 10 loyalty!

Quick tip Lionheart, if you have a rebellion and kill the rebels without them taking or sacking a settlement all that instability disappears.

If you declare war on the Western Roman empire it will improve your relationship with the majority of the factions as most are at war with it

Total war noob here, yeah about those Norse Beserkers, I had no idea about upkeep costs, so I bought a shit ton of them and it absolutely rekt my economy the next turn. I just sent them on a rampage through mainland central Europe and raped, pillaged and fucked shit up. Those Beserkers are bad asses.

Hey lionheart :) I was just thinking for a few new faction ideas for you after these have finished if your open to them due to your worries about the proximity of some of the current factions starting positions. Maurians - (Morocco) Ostrogoths/Alans - (Romania). You could even do your own take on Channel 4's "The Romanians are coming"

A good start is really important. Make friends where possible and subjugate everyone else. Then you'll be laughing. Paying out at the start makes your life so much easier later.

No offence Lionheart. But you are worrying far too much about lothars marriage. Get him to build up influence and find a wife.. And if he is unable. Then that's that. No wife for him. Worry about the rest of the family and let him grow old in peace. Lol Also. Why are you spreading out so much.. With so many armies no so many potential enemies. You should consolidate your holdings in northern and North Western Europe... Forget Iberia. And you don't have to finish off the western Romans :) Better to build develop your lands and build up alliances. After all you don't have to hold all the lands yourself to win... Creating vassals / puppet States is a good way to build a large empire without having to defend all of it. Love your videos. :)

Absolutely right. I'm not even going to bother with this game anymore or any Total War game that's going to come for that instance. The diplomacy has been broken on every single game they released, it never really gets improved if you look closely. The great power thing is literally the worst thing they could come up with. The performance is also atrocious compared to the final Rome II release. Best to just sell the brand to somebody else capable.
