I agree it what is happening. Dak is on a proof you can win in the playoffs year or we have nothing to loss by starting over. I think there is a percentage of the fan base that is so use to not being a winning franchise that they are scared to move on. They would rather get embarrassed in the playoffs every year than the uncerainty of a new QB

So Goff has some very important acollades that DAK doesn't have. Goff has played in a Super Bowl. Goff has played in two NFC Championship games. So the QBs are apples to oranges. I don't think Dallas has any intent to resign Dak if he wants top 5 QB money. Because come playoff times that isn't who he is. I think they would rather let him walk. Dak is going to have to produce in the playoffs are they are going to let him walk.

Goff's defense, supporting cast, and coaching had at least 75% Just as Brady, Mahomes, Flacco, Stafford, Nick Foles etc ANNNNND btw, Marino and other HOF QBs have retired without a ring or Conference appearances

Jared Goff has just gotten a 4-year, $212 million extension, with $170 million guaranteed. Goff has won Playoff Games, and has taken 2 different teams to the NFC Championship Game, and he's been to the Super Bowl. Until Dak does what Goff has done in the post season, he shouldn't get anywhere near what Goff is getting.
