Good Question.. I wondred the same and unless you modify a Kydex Sheath yourself it doesnt appear so.. However.. The knife is of high quality and worth every penny

better then the m4 ? i'm thinking of buying a lion steel for hunting this season ! any info would be greatly appreciated
@ctford276 жыл бұрын
AntMan for deer I would go with the M2. I just gone one for this deer season and it is scary sharp. Anything bigger go with the M3.

Can the spine strike a ferro rod?
@Gpknives5 жыл бұрын
I'm not 100%. The spine is crowned (rounded) but the edge where the spine meets the flats might work. You could always flatten out a section for a 90% angle.

How much hrc?

Per LionSteel 59-60 HRC .

I think that big belly would make that a good skinner

I think you are correct. Thanks for watching. 👍

What is steel is that ?
@Gpknives2 жыл бұрын
Niolox is a German tool steel with similar edge retention to D2 with improved corrosion resistance, toughness, and edge stability (can be run with a thinner edge for better performance).

M3 handle with bob blade plz. Give me niolox steel. Hehe
@Gpknives5 жыл бұрын
You mean the TOPS BOB? Check out the B40 Bushcrafter. Sleipner steel but still a great design.
@drive77 жыл бұрын
It's a cool looking knife, but it's been NFG for bushcraft. The blade is too broad for most tasks, the belly is too pronounced for anything involving food or wood, and the Niolox chips like a mofo. I'm going to be selling it.
@Gpknives7 жыл бұрын
Sorry to hear that. I know a few people have had good success with the M3 and Niolox, maybe it's just not for you. The M3 is probably more suited to hunting and skinning whereas the M4 might be a better "bushcraft" knife. Different tools for different tasks.

GPKNIVES It's too chunky to be an effective skinner, I've found. It's a lovely knife, though, and I don't regret getting it - just not practical for my purposes.
