Oh, my gosh.... your comment reminded me of someone I knew who had a cat. The cat had a name but was always knocking things off the countertops and killing the houseplants so pretty much all he called her was *"You little sh*t"!* One day he came home from work and she'd cleared off the kitchen countertop of all the sugar, flour, coffee and tea in their containers, lying spilled on the floor. He just yelled out "You little sh*t" and she came RUNNING from the back room, jumped up on the countertop and sat there, purring. By that time, he said, he knew what SHE thought her name was. :)

Despite the fact, no one controls any one else, that Kevin himself is against it, but is stuck between a rock, and a hard place because wishing things were different won’t make these lions not exist. So he gives them the best life he can But as you’ve guessed People don’t think with reason People don’t think at all That’s why “do not iron clothes while on” is a warning on every ironing box But the way people use this earth, it’s resources and treat its sentient life is a major problem. It’s being destroyed Kevin just happens to be stuck in the middle of fighting for what’s best for all lions and keeping the ones he has as happy and content in such an unnatural situation they’re in

Gabby giggling? Yes! My sister had a cat who would hide in the bushes, charge us unexpectedly, take a swipe at our legs, and we swear he was laughing as he ran off! His name? Pounce. As a kitten, he would actually charge out of his hiding place, jump onto an unsuspecting human's leg, and latch on. He loved his version of hide and seek, then tag!

Gabs is so utterly utterly adorable. I swear she smirks when she does something naughty because she knows exactly how Kev will react and she seems to find his reactions rather funny. Lots of cats have that wicked sense of humour really and once you get used to it (including the painful parts) it's very enjoyable really.
