I just need to say. The gaslighting that goes on in the medical community, dismissing the experiences of the client as fake, histrionic; rather than being honest and saying "I might not know, but I will help you find out"...this takes a humility that I hope and pray because of these webinars will be instilled in the medical and mental health community.

Hello doctor I'm a young woman 27, I believe I have lipedema, I have a lot of feelings of inflammation, the feeling of peas under the fat of my arms and legs. Unfortunately in Canada this disease isn't entirely recognized and my doctor doesn't seem to have a lot of knowledge or understanding of it. This information has been invaluable & I will be going through and documenting and taking photos of my body. I am going to be following all of your protocols, thank you so much!

As a retired lymphedema therapist, I am so pleased to hear that this and lipidema condition are getting away, although little by little, from orphan illnesses by the medical profession. Too many GPs are unaware of both these conditions.

It's all the new, lucrative fat surgeries. She even mentioned them in the video. LIposuction is big for lipedema. Only surgeons treat it, because they gradually persuade you to get surgery. Medicine is a for-profit industry.

Ohh, I know I’ve had it for-ever! At least 40 years I cannot wear a bathing suit or shorts. It’s in my calves now and it is totally embarrassing and hurts. I even see small broken vessels and spotty places all over my legs. At 75, I would still like to see a doctor who is on top of Lipedema. What kind of doctor should I search for? Thank you so very much for your teaching videos. I wish I could get a reply. I’ve tried for months with no reply. I will continue to watch and learn. Thank you!

I developed lipoedema a few months after having 2 Pfizer vaccines mandated in Australia. Diagnosed stage 1-2 in full arms and legs by 2 surgeons. GP’s couldn’t care less if they really tried and told me it’s in my head and to exercise more. Lipoedema doesn’t run in my family and I never showed any symptoms in my life. It is very painful and progressing quickly and aggressively and I cannot imagine showing my body to anyone, it’s hard for me to look at, within 4 months from the vaccines my body is unrecognisable. I haven’t heard many mention developing this lifelong condition post vaccines, but I know it was caused by the vaccines, it is very lonely and hard to get help

OMGOODNESS! This is exactly me, except I haven’t been diagnosed! My whole body changed after the “mandated” (otherwise lose my job) Pfizer 2nd shot. I knew there were hormonal changes but I couldn’t specifically say what. I could just *feel* it. My whole body has changed. I’ve just learned about lipedema & have wondered about hormones related to it, then I read your comment. I wish I had said to them to fire me rather than take the vax.
@trixie9777
@trixie9777 Жыл бұрын
Personally, I think the vax finds whatever “weakness” is in the body and it then develops whatever condition. This is certain,y not what I expected. I expected massive fatigue b-c I’ve suffered from that for years. But this makes sense b-c of the hormones. I had struggle with painful periods & severe moodiness related to them. Currently, I’m post menopausal. I was stable once my periods stopped (years before vax), then vax came along & my whole body changed.

I learned from a doctor that there was a lady who when she was young had polio which paralyzed her leg and cause it to be 3inches shorter. When she was 65 years old she found out that deep breathing and at the same time lightly jumping up and down either on the ground or a mini trampoline for 5 minutes every hour for four months completely healed her leg and it also grew back the same length as her other. From what I am learning the lymph system if you move it by breathing and lightly jumping often will do a lot of cleaning of junk in our bodies. But I also think at the same time it's important to not eat junk food

It's crazy seeing 4 generations of connective tissue disorders & obesity issues in my family unfold in these talks. I've been saying the grain based, wheat, sugar, seed oil diets were behind so much. I found out how toxic wheat was for physical and mental health over a decade ago. My youngest grandson is highly allergic to gluten. I went keto / low carb over a decade ago & it saved my life. Gotta love that food pyramid & all the engineered oils they told us were slimming, heart healthy, blah blah... Then the grain laden high sugar fat free foods. Unbelievable. Generations of physical and mental illnesses can be traced back to political Crisco, corn oil, soy oils, grains, grain fed livestock & sugar.. As a mother who raised 4 kids, 3 on the spectrum, we went decades with science & medical professionals demanding Autism wasn't related to food... That so much wasn't related to the food they pushed. Liars.

I gave all the Lipedema presentation- painful fat nodules - I can see it under the skin like it’s caught in my interstetium all over- My stomach has grown rapidly- it doesn’t present the same as the nodules on my limbs but the only way I can describe it is its heavy fat. Not soft and fluffy. It doesn’t respond to exercise or diet although I know it’s important to eat well. I’m at a lose right now because doctors in the UK have closed ears. All they see is obesity. I’ve always been a 8.5 stone - 9 stone and now I’m 11 stone. That happened within months.

I think it is extremely important to discuss the mental health effects of restrictive diets. I am so triggered by how every advice on almost any health problem says to switch to some kind of restrictive diet with zero acknowledgement of how incredibly hard this is and how these diets themselves cause mental health issues and disordered eating. This is not a benign option. Most studies I've read says that these diets can be effective for some patients but a large proportion drop out because they don't tolerate them. Ignoring this reality and continuing to suggest these difficult diets that many of us have already failed at contributes to the years of medical trauma we've all been through.

@FortheBudgies…..I know what you mean. However, in my case, it’s having to prepare food for my husband that gets me in trouble. Before my first husband died of cancer, I told my husband and sons that I could lose weight fast if I didn’t have to cook for others…..my sons told me that I was making excuses. No. I KNOW me! Well, after my husband died, and my sons moved away, I dropped weight fast! A few months later, when my youngest son saw me again, he was stunned. I asked him; “Do you still think I’m making excuses?” I’m remarried…..gained it all back. It’s the same issue again…..always having garbage in the house, and having to cook it for the new husband! If only he would eat healthier! It’s like asking an alcoholic to be a bartender! I had been trying to ‘abstain’ this whole past year, going low-and no carb, but it hasn’t worked this time around! I feel so sluggish and ugly. I’ve got to do something! It was recently discovered that I now have several cysts on my pancreas! My blood calcium is high out of spec! But the endocrine doctor I went to just smirked at me….she doesn’t think I have any issues! I am wondering just what doctor would take this all seriously?! My husband is causing me a LOT of stress too!

@@gracebe235 I'm so sorry you are going through such a hard situation. Maybe it's not helpful but you do not have to cook for someone else something to don't want to eat. You don't ever have to cook for another adult. If I were you I'd just stop and go back to doing exactly what you were doing when you were single and if he wants something else it's on him to do it for himself. Is being with this man worth your health? If he really loves you then he will accept that you aren't going to do things that put your health at risk. Romantic relationships are supposed to improve our lives, not be another burden. You are his partner, not his mom, does he realize this?

But aside from that, in order to keep the peace, I cook when he ‘requests’ it, to keep the peace…..apparently, we are from the generation where women did such things. But I agree with you….if he really cared, he would prepare his own meals, I have mentioned this many times in the past…..he just chooses to ignore that those conversations ever took place…..he hears what he wants to hear. When/if I am ever financially able, I will be gone.

@@gracebe235 I know reasons for staying in a relationship can be very complicated and so many women need a partner for financial stability. I hope you can find a path to your own financial footing. Just remember that all of the unpaid labor you put into keeping the peace is taken away from when you could be earning. Women's unpaid labor is ignored and the world is completely dependent upon it. Stay safe, stay strong, ask for help, and remember you deserve to live a life by your own values. Also, he'd be a hungry man in this house if he refused to prepare his own meals. I can live on cereal for a long time!

Allergy testing will NOT show food sensitivities. You can be sensitive to something and/or have difficulty digesting it without actually being allergic. Just because you don't go into anaphylactic shock from salicylates doesn't mean you can eat them without pain and diarrhea.

Thank you Dr. Herbst! Has anyone considered an association with Thrombophilic Disorders? I find that a lot of us have Factor V Leiden. This means we are resistant to the FIBRIN stabilizing factor- "activated protein C". Therefore, we are continually producing fibrin webs when endothelial cells are damaged and we cannot stop its production. I believe this is a correlation with the chronic inflammation produced from the secondary response by macrophages who are continually trying to remove the over-clotting debris. Also, the clot removal system, AKA fibrinolytic system, involves cutting up the fibrin web that is the bulk of the blood clot. In factor V Leiden there is a problem with breaking down the clots as well. Maybe this is the reason we BRUISE so easily. It's not a matter of stopping the bleed, it's stopping the fibrin production of the bleed?

@@independentthinker4397…..Oh wow! I have wondered about the factor 5 Leiden thing……I don’t know if I have it, but I have wondered about my mom, as she had a miscarriage and other symptoms. I am AB negative too. I have read that blood types A and AB, tend to have thicker blood than blood types O and B. But my mom seemed to have problems with her blood being too thick, and she was type B. Of course, she had a sweet tooth, and eating inflammatory foods like sugar, will also cause thickening of the blood. There are many good foods and supplements that cause the blood to thin, like turmeric. My C-reactive protein is horrendously high, and has been for years.

In 2020 post my getting Covid I had an extreme reaction to the virus and my oral mucosa had lesions all the way to my throat and gums - oral lechin plantas That moved downwards beyond my throat. I wonder if that was the beginning of my Lipedema issue. It took 2 years for my symptoms to really start to impact me. Exercise and fasting only made it worst. I’ve gone fron4 days weight training to zero. Brain fog (I can’t function), extreme fatigue, Heavy painful limbs, memory has been impacted - my old stories are missing huge segments and I was a great story teller.

It's already known that inflammation is involved in most if not all chronic disease. Different people are susceptible to different malfunctions from inflammation. The REAL issue is finding practical solutions to prevent/resolve it. For starters, there are a lot of pro-inflammatory ingredients in modern, processed food. It's loaded with fructose and Omega 6 oils. Omega 6 is already known to be inflammatory in doses larger than 1/2 teaspon per day.

Also I am very very worried that my tissue is thin in my organs as I have extremely thin skin and I know in my gut this is connected to the lipedema. I think that it is crazy I can’t get a doctor to test my hormone levels. Thank goodness for this video and finally some more science 🧪 🧬 so I can do some more research 🔬 into macrophages, platelet factor 4 ect. I’m guessing that hormone imbalance combined with other things will be the cause of this. I’m 5’4 “ 125 lbs. I run 6 hrs a week, do heavy weight training and ride a bike taxi 30 miles a day with passengers. I eat keto, do only real food, wear compression ect. I want to find out what causes this. What on earth! Does he think he can diagnose whether or not someone else is having pain by how they look?!? This is actually a serious, and common, problem -- people who have never experienced a lot of pain themselves find it hard to believe that other people are experiencing pain -- because pain isn't visible. A broken leg is visible, or a bad open wound, but pain isn't, so they don't believe in it. I hate to seem mean, but I wish these people would experience some severe chronic pain themselves before they start trying to treat people who are in pain.

It was not in my family neither were weight issues in 4 months my body too was unreconisable I saw Dr Herbst a few times and stabilised for years with a protocol I then had my third vaccine and it went aggressive again . Is the vaccine trauma to the body like the surgery was ? I haven't felt the need to research lipedema the past years until this aggressive bout. It's been interesting but I am confused ... why aren't men getting this lipedema reaction ? Do they not have leaky guts ? Surgery like mine? I had a right ovary removed soon after the colon surgery ... was that perhaps more the reason .. hormones ? I have just started diving into the new research .. perhaps I missed something as to why men don't react with lipedema
