I just use Tattu R-Line packs. They are worth it to me the 1300&1400mAh 6s they are smaller then all the competitors, they just don’t compete with any other pack that I’ve used. And I’ve used quite a few different brands. But that’s just me. I have some R-Line packs that have been tortured for 11 months and they still kick like brand new packs. I use those vanover 2207-2021kv 6s motors and I love them. They are good as shit.

Dude this whole video is INSANE! Love the content but would be nice to know the post flight stats (total mAh;s drawn etc, ). CNHL's appear to hold their own in this one shot to bust test but did the more expensive battery crank out more current, aka more speed, aka more excitement before it nuked itself? Also, more expensive Lipos tend to have more cycles which could outweigh the price difference. Undecided about which battery won but loved the show, man!!!

In my tests the lunar landers usually only had 900, 915, 950mAh even tho labeled 1100, and they tested to deliver 20% less amps at full throttle than the CNHL Black 1100.

Same as the results I got...both Lunar Landers dropped cells on the first flight, they replaced one...and I stopped asking for more, i'll never buy another ThunderPower battery... in my test they performed similar to GoldBat...would you be willing to test again next month? I'm about to release the CNHL Green Packs, a collab with FlyHighFPV and CNHL. We're taking the Black chemistry (that i've tested to be even better than the Pizza chemistry), and we're going to improve the packaging, heatshrink, leads... and keep the packs right around $20

I would not use a rachet. if you need to go electric then you're better off using a drill that has a clutch torque adjustment. at least that way the clutch will slip and not over tighten. You just have to experiment with what setting works good and maybe do the final crank with a hand tool. with many motors having a hollow shaft, it's easy to over tighten and split them unless you're paying attention to the torque.

How much amp draw max? I more surprised how fettec esc can survive.. becaue i can blow fettec esc with 150c lipo in a single full throttle.. but with lower C lipo fettec esc survive quite well

This was hilarious 😂 For some reason though, I feel like the lunar lander packs showed their quality through 3 cells failing instead of just 1 cell. Like more of the battery cells were actively trying to fulfill the power demands placed on it. Maybe the resistance was more uniform across all 6 cells of the lunar lander. I guess that could work either way though. More cells were actively TRYING, but ultimately failed. Thanks for the laughs and some thought provoking!

I don’t fly either brand of LiPo or really understand how they work honestly. Just threw my thoughts out there, to see if anyone else had any more understanding or care to break down the results a bit more technically, if there is any to share I guess 😂

@iSeeFPV i see what you're saying, if the cells were perfectly balanced, they might fail together....in my tests, the Thunderpowers came New in Box with poor IR instead of perfectly clean, and the bad cells got worse quickly (in normal use). Since they ship with mixed IR, i'm not impressed by their cell pairing/matching. I use my $48 packs as goggle batteries now (ouch), because i dont trust them to land me back on the roof. The overrated capacity really took me by surprise too, 1100mah batteries that go flat at 900, 915, 950....

I like the lunar lander due to being the lightest 1100mah lipo to date. Second favorite lipo is Tattu R line 4.0 1300mah 6s at 200gr being the lightest 1300mah inwhich the Iflight v4 6s 1300mah lipo seems to be the same lipo with different branding as well as weight. Then i like the Dogcom 1160mah 533 lipos and 1260mah and 1350mah lipos .

Hey DrainMan...thanks for this. Possible to test bang for the buck under normal flying conditions? In this way, we would know if we have to buy 2.5 cheap batts to 1 quality batt, or if the cheap batt can last a season, and still perform at 80% like new, for example. Can't imagine torturing batteries provides any insight into that.

I have a dozen CNHL batteries.. They are great. Botgrinder didn't do a very scientific or thorough test either, that video doesn't really show any real value for batteries.

I understand that the viewers of youtube gravitate to this click bait content, but a proper test of the packs, even a report on how the batteries are going after x amount of cycles and what the IR is after one hundred cycles for instance.
