LiPo Fire - Destroying a LiPo to see what happens

Today I shot a LiPo with an air rifle to see what happens when a LiPo gets severely damaged. The result was not as dramatic as I thought it would be ... but I would not want this happening inside one of my planes or inside my shop.
For all of you that were hall monitors in grade school, Several safety precautions were taken including a fire extinguisher nearby, safety glasses, gloves, a pail of water standing by to dunk the dead battery, nobody else around, dogs locked in the house ...
