Something that would solve quite a bit of your frustrations with this medium is simply using the cap as a mixing palette! You mentioned that with watercolors you have more control of your pigment strength, but you didn’t seem to realize why that is. A major factor is that with watercolor you usually use a mixing surface to dilute your colors, you would almost never work directly from the pan or tube,. Despite the similarities between the two mediums you weren’t using a mixing palette with the liquid graphite at all, which means you were always going to pick up the graphite at full strength because you had no way to dilute the pigment into the water held in the brush.

Don't be jealous. Any good Art supplier sells Art Graf ... and others. It's fantastic for shading large areas.

It was difficult for me to get a hold of them, so I mixed my own. I just bought some fat graphite for mechanical pencils and sharpened it into a pot that I mixed with gum aribac. I played about with that until I was able to travel and buy some graphite paint.

oooooh Jazza please do more stuff from RAWRAWRAW (I mean Mortal Kombat ^^) I'd love that!! Also I gotta say, it's always so good to watch your videos, no matter how hard a day I'm having, or whatever bullshit happens, you're spreading positive energy that really lifts me up, every time! You're not gonna read this, but THANK YOU! Best Regards from Austria (The one without kangaroos and koalas)

In high school we were allowed to have free range of the art cupboard and I found liquid graphite. I found that if I wet my brush enough to pick up pigment and place it on a palette or plastic lid, I could then dilute it with water to control and predict what tone the pigment would come out as. I absolutely loved this video and watching you work with the medium. Keep up the amazing work!

There’s so many different ways to draw nowadays but I have to admit. This seems like a really cool way to draw and color.

The recurring Venom theme makes me think that one of Jazza's favorite character's is the antihero.

This is so neat?? I've definitely never heard of water color graphite and seeing it was really cool! I'm an acrylic paint artist myself but I always love seeing you branch out, it makes me want to try other things as well ❤

Jazza, I lost your channel for a while when I switched KZbin accounts but through the grace of God I have found you again. Hehe. Sometimes, I put you on in the background to block out street noise and find myself laughing unintentionally just from listening. :)
