I am strongly considering supporting this brand and putting a few of these in my cart, Bro! I'm an old-school DJ and this seems to be the perfect mobile stool I need. The height adjustment specs seem to be perfect. My only concern is that I'm close to 225 pounds and I practice having headroom or more than what is needed as a rule of thumb. A similar product claims to have a 300lb. load capacity. Any additional information would be helpful.

Mainly I'm curious.....what is the butterfly knob/screw that's in the seat base do? The stool does seem very nice...nothing else quite like it! And the price is good. Just got one and haven't spent any time using it yet...but it seems great....however I'm 6'4 and 225lb so I'm right at the weight limit (which i only learned just now) Hope I don't gain weight!

It looks too tall. I want my feet on the floor, not on a skinny footrest.
