Been watching since Nyalotha, this was the best I've ever seen this guild play, strategize, and take care of the players' health. Years ago there would have been instant "just go again" pulls after deaths, but this time it was a systematic consideration of what went wrong + planning + adjustments before pulling. This was such a well-deserved win. Congrats!

The secret sauce was having Boomie go back fury and have the warriors/THD blender all the adds, giving the rest of the raid more uptime on the boss.

Liquid min/maxed the absolute shit out of this boss and Ky'veza, two very finely tuned bosses that needed god pulls. Incredibly enjoyable to watch the whole race from start to finish and see the incremental improvements. Well deserved win!

I been watching since nylotha you guys were just a tier above all the competition I am excited for you guys to carry this on to the next tier even though you down played your comp saying it was just a melee blender without much thinking I don’t actually believe that was true it really just seemed like you guys had a amazing read on what would give you the largest advantage on this boss being able to just turbo cleave shackles and acoltyes on the last phase gave you guys so much extra boss damage I really think that was a huge component behind the win and then everyone played so good I am so happy that you guys killed it I stayed up to watch I could tell it was gonna die and most important of all you guys finished almost 48 hours ahead of echo there can be no talk about eu could of won with Tuesday reset because they killed it 3 hours later you guys stamped yourselves as the best guild by a large margin was great to watch from twister on flawless

For most of them, yes. Some of the team as individuals have a good enough viewership from streaming as well to make this their fulltime job. I'm sure there's some sponsorship dollars and bonus tied to things as well.

No but they are normally compensated for this such as mcdonalds franchises or other things. Most just take vacations during this or work jobs that allow them to do this

OK so first of all congratulations for your kill but what im about to write will probably anger your fans a bit :D. I personally dont cosider the race to be fair at all and i think that im not alone who thinks this way just for the sole fact that you as NA guild get reset almost day sooner than EU, and NO im not fan of any of the EU guilds i just like to watch the event as whole cause i think its pretty cool.But if we look at the pull count when you managed to kill Ansurek it was pretty obvious how ahead you guys were thanks to the different reset times cause you had almost 100 more pulls than any EU guild that was competing with you which alone is like 10-12 hours of progress that you were ahead. And for those that are gonna say things like the EU guilds should just switch to NA servers.... why should they? Its the same as if they said to you join EU servers. So as long as Blizz dont consider making the race fair for all the participants with all of them starting at the same time with everything the race would never be fair in my opinion and as i said im pretty sure that im not the only one who thinks this way. So again congratulations to the kill but you're no winners in my eyes.

Let's ignore the fact that NA's reset was extended 5 hours with each reset, negating the "headstart". Let's also ignore the fact that echo took 40 pulls and 4 hours to reclear just ky'veza, while liquid only had 12 pulls to reclear. Liquid was more consistent this tier than anybody else.
