Did you use one 12000 lumens light or two? Great footage!
@MatthiasLebo5 жыл бұрын
Iñaki Madinagoitia Lozano thank you 🙏 I used two 12000 Lumen lights. So total of 24000 Lumen... 😉

Beautiful footage. What would you make of the Lumix G9 underwater, or have you ever tried it? I have just acquired an Ikelite housing and dome port for this camera. It should be fairly comparable to the GH5 footage, I should think. Continued success to you.

Thank for your comment. I'll use it and talk about the G9 in my next Q&A Session that will be published on April 26. Thanks for your patience. 🙏🏻😊

Thanks mate. 🙏 I use the color profile “natural” with saturation and contrast dialed down to the minimum level.

do you use a metabones adapter to fit the 100mm onto the gh5s?
@MatthiasLebo5 жыл бұрын
Yes, I do. And it works great.
@udipww5 жыл бұрын
@@MatthiasLebo I assume that tripod is used and is there an extension ring as well so that it will fit into the flat port. Im asking because i have just upgrade to the gh5s from sony and looking to get the right lens. Have you used the olympus 60mm or any other macro lens? any input will be appreciated. Thanks Matthias

This is not using any lights right?
@MatthiasLebo Жыл бұрын
It is. I was using 2 x 12000 Lumen lights from Scubalamp on this trip.

Cool footage !! Wow, 100 mm underwater sounds challenging …!?
@MatthiasLebo5 жыл бұрын
Thanks. 🙏🏻 Oh yeah, the 100mm is very challenging and only really work when used on a tripod. But the results are amazing I find. 😊

Hi Colleague!)) Thanks for the test, an interesting camera, I’m going to buy it for a long time. I’ll shoot her on the ground. I’m shooting Sony cx730 under water. in boxing AMPHIBICO. I shoot mainly in fresh waters, holding my breath. Thanks again, good shots!))

Avtofocus of GH5 is not really. What about avtofocus of GH5 S ?
@MatthiasLebo4 жыл бұрын
The autofocus on both cameras is about the same. Not great on either of them. I barely ever use the autofocus when filming underwater. I normally use one-push focus. That works the best in my experience with the GH5/GH5S.

Thank you Jérôme, appreciate your feedback. 🙏🏻😊 That would be great. Where are you based? I had been actually working as an instructor in Bali myself in 2010 for a year. Maybe I can make a trip happen there in 2020 and would love to team-up and do some dives and filming underwater with you. Nice channel by the way. 👍🏻 What are you filming on?

Yeah, some reefs are more affected than others, but it's actually not all that dramatic.
