Thank you Seema. Excellent presentation. My question concerns Joule-Thomson effect upon stepping down natural gas (CH4) from 3600 psi to 75 psi. The API says the rule is 7°F per 100 psi. So I calculate (3600 psi - 75 psi)/100*7°F= -247°F temp drop. What would happen if CH4 was introduced into a Local Distribution System (for homes and businesses) at 75 psi (through a regulator), but at ~ -177°F due to Joule-Thomson effect? Is it fair to say this very cold gas is ~50x more dense than CH4 at 75 psi @ 70°F? I say this because it seems this gas will want to expand 48x as it heats up to normal temperature. THANK YOU!
