Highly effective fluid for cleaning clogged passenger car diesel particulate filters when installed. Dissolves contaminants in diesel particulate filters. Secures optimum vehicle handling, engine performance and low fuel consumption. Regular cleaning in combination with flushing can help avoid expensive repair costs. Cleaning occurs with a DPF pressurized tank spray gun (part no. 7946) and the specially developed DPF-Probe with 5 interchangeable tips (part no. 7945).
Intended use:
For passenger car diesel engines with diesel particulate filter (DPF/FAP). Special short-distance vehicles and city vehicles are primarily affected by problems with clogged diesel particulate filters.

The soot is cleaned, but not the ash, no real long term solution then. Other cleaners tackle the ash as well (but DPF has to be taken off which isn't that much of an issue)

Just take the dpf off and bash a 2" square hole all the way through with a metal bar, shake fragments out into the bin, refit and the car is better than new

I have Mercedes E class 2015 how can I find dpf particular filter place all dpf fitted in the same area and look like the same ?

Load of old tosh, the only way to clean the dpf is remove it and fill it with 25% hcl and 75% water drain and repeat several times until you flush out clear water with a hose,allow it to dry and refit.

i have done the regeneration cycle. if it is blocked by ash than how come my 2012 mercedes sprinter 2500 is still able to run and drive normally? but the check def light keeps coming on. i have never missed a time to put the def fluid in, could there be another problem? because if it is blocked by ash the car would not have as much power as it does.

Can you describe how this product would be used on a 2015 GMC SIERRA 2500HD Duramax? When looking at the DPF the sensors sit on the top of the DPF with little to no clearance from the truck undercarriage. I'm thinking I will still have to remove the back half of the exhaust system to make this work.

i have been told by peugeot service that my peugeot 508 rxh particulate filter has reached the end of life. Would cleaning particulate filter with this work for me? I have engine light on it. Would the engine light clear itself after cleaning?
