DARK to LIGHT?? Watercolor Experiment 🎨

Liron, thank you SO MUCH for this video. Many years ago I learned to paint in oils. Several years ago I took up watercolor. Even though I know the 2 mediums are intended to be used differently, I still tend to use my watercolors drier than I "should." By you doing this video I feel like I've been given permission to do it my way. I hope you understand what I mean. Thank you!

This is my biggest struggle with watercolor. All my life, with other mediums...dark to light, dark to light, dark to light....it’s so ingrained in me, and such a struggle to reverse it.

I think this is a good skill to have - since the ability to combine both methods in a painting when need, makes for a better painting.

Yes we will paint it. Drawing those petals scares me. Which red will you use? I am thinking to use permanent rose.

Good experiment Liron, i really enjoyed it but at the same time I had a strange feeling that something was wrong... The final result is surprisingly good! But it takes out from the full potencial of the media, ir at least that's my impression.

you should change to a opaque media i think it would be a good change. you look like a acrylic or gouache type of guy for me of course i have seen your content almost since the beginning and i feel that.
