After writing this song in 2010 I’m finally releasing it officially to the world. I initially recorded this song in my “home studio” (aka bedroom studios) so many years ago not knowing the impact it would have. It was originally written to support the ‘Footprints of Hope’ series by Pastor Glen Samuels and Hope Tv. I believe it was penned under true inspiration from the Father above so I pray that all who hear it will be blessed!
A big thank you goes out to my phenomenal executive producer - Sheldon Palmer - who ensured this song finally got the attention it deserved after all this time!
To all who’ve supported this leg of the project, you know yourselves and I’m eternally grateful to you! There is much more to come but we’re taking it one tune at a time! Be blessed!

Footprints of Hope Words & Music: Lisa Davis
August 16, 2010
Verse 1
Looking back in the past some centuries ago
When you walked through the garden alone
You left even then, your footprints of hope
To be followed by man down the road
Adam & Eve, yes they walked the path
But thought that they hopelessly fell
But you sent a Savior, four thousand years later
So men young and old now can tell
Of your
Chorus
Footprints of hope
Footprints of love
Footprints to follow when we’ve lost our way
Footprints of life
Footprints of truth
Lord help us to walk in your way
In your footprints of hope
Footprints of hope
Verse 2
Now when we think of that day long ago
When you hung on the cross all alone
You left even then, Your footprints of hope
For a world that you love, this we know
Though many times we stray from the path
You lead us right back to the way
Help us oh Lord to keep on this narrow road
And tell others You want them to go
In your
Chorus 2x
Footprints of hope
