Great performance, and so good to hear someone actually use the lyrics as written. A lot of research went into the writing of those lyrics, and they deserve to be sung as written.

She didn't though. She says "so much cavalry" instead of Stormont's and "blood below my feet" instead of mud. Now I like this version... just they are clearly relying on Joan Baez's version or whoever else's

And I think she says my brother below me instead of my brother above me. But I wonder if they did that intentionally. Maybe if they're not Christian they might not want to say my brother above me. But instead he would be in the ground below

Great video. Love the Irish. Friendliest people and great singers. GK Chesterton said this about them: "...For all their wars are merry and all their songs are sad."

I love the Irish and the way they sing. But why did they side, time after time, with our enemies? Their country is the most anti-israel country in Europe. They do not seem to realize that the Pals are not Irish and that us are not the oppressing Brits of years ago...

There was no Stoneman and no stoned man LOL Actually the text is 'Till Stonewall´s cavalry came' refering to General Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson.

Stoneman was a Union General. Not the same guy as Stonewall Jackson.

@tallhatuk This incapable general was a goddamn Yankee, fought for the bloodthirsty Union and got defeated. There was nobody with this name among our Confederates.

They made a lyric mistake like most bands do. It's mud below my feet not blood.

It was probably a mix of mud and blood.
