Hi Doreen, If you read her manager Jerry Schilling's book, Lisa Marie could have had a great career, if she followed his wise counsel. She didn't want to have to pay her dues, and felt she should be entitled to start at the top because she was Lisa Marie Presley. Jerry felt she was a very talented singer without the Presley name backing her up. She had the opportunity, but not the patience to do the things that would have guarantee her lasting success.

Yup, that whole album… I almost felt bad for Lockwood. If I wrote one love song about my ex (living or dead) and was talking about how exciting falling in love with him was and telling Oprah that I’ve never felt that high in my life, etc, my man would be like ‘see ya, don’t let the doorknob hit ya… I know you are grieving but still… I’m gonna find someone who loves me the way you love him’. And that would have been all she wrote.

But she was still like Elvis in so many ways. She loved MJ passionately, and he was the love of her life. This song made me cry. A love letter to Michael Jackson, that we are privileged to hear. Most of her songs are about him, so we have many love letters. : ) Just A Dream is my favorite of those, but this one is great too. May Lisa, Elvis, Ben, and MJ be together in heaven, dancing and singing together. I was so touched at a recent Debbie Rowe interview, and this after LMP died, saying that Lisa Marie and Michael belong together, and that she hoped they are together in Heaven, (she said that Lisa deserves to be with him in Heaven) and she was crying so hard as she said it.
