I am 32 , and I am still struggling from the mistakes I did at 24, it wasn't easy to get up again, and once I started walking in the right path, covid 19 came and stopped everything. There are a couple of rules that I found to be motivational. Unpack your story is a wonderful way of looking at public speaking. I have always liked a great story. I think that this is greatly important. When she says to create holistic success, she could not be farther from the truth! When you are struggling in one area of your life, it affects every other area. If you can try to bring it all together at once, this is where true success lies. Lisa I feel guilty kinda but I had no idea! I used to tell myself affirmations in the mirror and I got away from it.....I went through drastic and unpleasant life experiences and I became down on myself. My self esteem and self confidence was gone so I started writing the things that I am.......made a long list and then then things that I am not that I keep telling myself. Now Lisa this is before I heard you speak of the I am...it just came to me and I did 4 facebook live videos about 15 minutes long on this subject. It helped alot of folks and helped me and it was a blessing. God told me to speak on this subject and I did! When I saw this and saw you talk about the "I am's" I got chills! Thank you for your amazing and inspiring videos.......my life is changing for the better everyday....thank you for your transparency and your obvious love and compassion for other. Love ya girl! I've been in some low points in my life and even though trying to stay positive it's hard. as I dn't have the family support and I just want to do better 4 my sons and self. It seems like I've had a hard life and I dnt want it to b pasted on to them . They do deserve so much more better then me and what I've tried to give them. I dnt want them to b struggling as I have. Lisa Nichols reminds me of Oprah Winfrey who is my other motivator. All the 10 rules for success made a huge impact on me. However what really hit me hard is rule no 6 - stop asking permission, 7 - disrupt your soil, 8 - unpack your story and 10 - dream big.Just be willing to take a step out where nobody else will do so. Willing to unlearn and relearn to bring out new awareness and attain future dreams bravely. Willingness to take risk, being clear and concise in my story, don't just tell me story but show me the story and to remember that Everything in life begins with me. Thank You so much Lisa.
