@@mediapulsehub Well, obviously, they can't be doing both solo activities and group activities at the same time. Their contract with YG will only work if they set aside something like a whole year for solo activities to begin with and subsequently alternate solo and group activities with 6-month or 9-month periods. They just spent an exhausting whole year doing 70 performances in 24 countries earning tons of money for YG. The girls now need to spend most of 2024 on their solo phase. The beginning is the hardest part, so they NEED the whole year. 2025 will probably include at least 6 months for group activity (and that's even long for YG, since a comeback usually only includes a few months of promotional activity). And YG is obviously going to focus mainly on BabyMonster this year.

The registrations done by YG are not to prevent Lisa from using her own name. Everything that has been happening this year basically just indicates that the way the YG-Blackpink contract relationship is working is that (1) the BP members have specific periods of time (maybe the entire year of 2024 or most of the year to begin with) to work on their own projects and promotions; and (2) then there will be a specific time period to work with YG on the Blackpink group activities (probably in 2025 or some part of 2025). That's really the only way it can work, practically speaking. If they try to do both at the same time, it will be chaotic, exhausting and stressful because there will be too many scheduling conflicts. It also makes sense because YG is obviously going to spend most of 2024 making sure that BabyMonster's debut year is successful. (YG isn't going to take chances by half-a*ssing it the way they handled BP's debut year.) Also, the "cat is out of the bag" is not a diss against YG. It's an idiom that means that the secret is out. When you say something like "well, I guess the cat is out of the bag" it means the same thing as "well, I guess everyone knows now."

I think their contract with YG divides up the calendar. It would be too messy to try to work on both group activities and solo activities UNLESS they are divided into large separate time periods. I wouldn't be surprised if all or almost all of 2024 is for their solo activities. All of 2025 or maybe half will be for group activities...something like that. And YG is obviously going to focus mostly on BabyMonster in 2024 anyway and won't want to have them competing directly with Blackpink.

Well, I can't blame admin of this channel. Actually somewhat it's true. Atleast possibility that there will be no comeback of Blackpink. Same thing happened with Bigbang , after long 4 years they had released a song and scattered. Yg is not a company with lots of resources and connection, yg has very less strategy for every artists of yg. If Blackpink will make a comeback then I would be the happiest person of the world. But the chances are very trivial, insignificant.

It’s a PARTNERSHIP, a completely different contract from someone being MANAGED under RCA. RCA has a reputation for how they treat some of their artists but Lisa isn’t being managed by them thankfully. Her team was smart enough to NEVER allow her to sign another management company contract. Instead they made LLOUD (her own established company) a PARTNERSHIP of RCA. So RCA will basically be her music DISTRIBUTOR and she will have ALL RIGHTS to her music. It’s a lucrative Deal between LABELS

Why would lisa sign with RCA she should of signed with universal music group there better and plan out better for touring and promoting i mean i know shes sort of signed already with blackpink but they did good with their promotions for anounces of performances. i literally looked at the artists at RCA and they mostly did small arenas i know like pink and one or two others did some stadium tours but it wasnt like sold out immediately like taylor swift conserts sold out in minutes or seconds etc. or there wasn't any wow factor or huge demand for RCA maybe pink or justin timberlake or sza did.. but thats all. i know starting artist start small but shes already popular in social media. Lisa has past a hundred followers and is very good at trending in social media which is very important for getting music out there but signs with this company like she could of gotten way more choices and actually worked with amazing people if it was univeral music group or columbia reords or warner . I mean apart from RCA records i hope she has a good management and do most of the decisions and herself and not RCA. Hopefully the girls a coming back soon because a producer sent a see you soon on her instragam page outside yg building with du du du playing a good few weeks ago so hopefully it will be soon. I hope that when lisa is finished her drama she will go back to seoul and get back to the girls, to do there music. Also i hoped that who evers album was finished to have come out whether its the 3 or all four so by the time lisa is finished that they can start working on blackpinks music or when they are recording blackpink music they can bring out they solo music at the time and when they get a bit of break from recording they can go promote solo music like if there doing like a special solo performance and then come back and record but thats just me saying this as a idea.

As I have said, Blackpink was a collection of very talented women, that were held back by YG, only YG knows why. Now they are free, each doing what they want with the financial backing to make anything happen. YG spent millions for the rights to BP as a group, I am afraid getting BP back as a group isn't likely for multiple concerts with all 4 girls. It'll be like trying to herd cats.

Maybe. But I don't think so. Their contract with YG probably goes according to time periods. They will not likely do any group activities in 2024 and YG will want to focus on BabyMonster in 2024 anyway. So 2024 is the year set aside for the BP members to focus heavily on solo activities and successfully launch their solo careers. But when they finish the cycle of solo promotions, probably a big chunk of 2025 will be set aside for group activities under YG. It really wouldn't work any other way. It's kind of silly that a lot of people think that they're going to do solo-related stuff for just a few weeks and then have a group comeback. But of course Blackpink as a group will probably only have a couple more big comebacks during the next 4 or 5 years...then they will become more like SNSD (mostly inactive as a group).

Blackpink's career was already not very productive when the group was together and with YG. now it will obviously be even worse because even if YG still holds the rights to the group and the girls are not officially disband. it is obvious that they will only have a little time to devote to the group. this is the case for all groups in their situation, GOT7 are also officially still in groups but the members are all in different agencies and it is very complicated for them to have group activities. and it's the same for most 2nd or 3rd generation groups which have separate members in several agencies SNSD, EXID, TVXQ so yes in my opinion Blackpink is finished. of course they will make a comeback sooner or later but it will probably be the last.

It's over!!! YG is now braking through with BM. BP are only interested in their solo carreers. They milked everything they could out of BP in the last 7 years. BP girls think they are famous enough to go on their own. Let's see what the future holds for them. Lisa has the power and money to sorund herself with the most powerful people in the industry. There is no mistake why she is soooo close to the LVMH family, now being part of the LV brand. They got the means, contacts, and influence to help her give that last leap to the international stardom as a soloist. She is basically part of the family, so I think it might help her succeed, but she'll be fine either way. The other 3 girls have the means in a much smaller way, especially Rosé since she only has what she earned as BP and her talent, which sometimes is not enough in the cruel world of entertainment, hope she does well at least in Asia and Australia. Jisoo is famous in Korea, and her acting might help her to continue her fame in mainly Asia. She is really smart, so I think she'll be ok locally, mainly as an actress. Jenny, I don't know, I guess she'll be ok as a CEO and producer, but she, as an artist besides BP, is not as big as Lisa, unless it is on the local market and some Asian countries. She has more means than Jisoo and Rosé, not only cause the many brand deals, but also her family. I guess they'll all be fine at the end, and us BP fans will be f#@$ up. But it is what it is. Don't exaggerate the LVMH connection. LVMH like her because, among other things, she has more than 100 million followers on I n s ta gram and is, at least globally, the most popular member of the most popular girl group in the world. She was succeeding long before she even became the Global Ambassador for Celine. Companies and brands around the world were lining up and wanting her to be their rep, ambassador, endorser and everything else. YG worked overtime ignoring most of them, as the CEO of Dentiste confirmed a couple years ago. Why wouldn't LVMH want her. She helps them. Jennie is of course perfectly set up for success...especially in Korea. People forget that her label OA was JOINTLY established with her mother. Her mother has connections out the wazoo, being one of the major shareholders and a director of Korea's biggest media contents company (and apparently part of one of the branches of the Chaebol family associated with S a m s ung). Jisoo's got no problems in Korea. Rosé will do fine too. They probably will begin alternating between group activity and solo activity next year...maybe something like 6 months solo, 6 months group. That's the way it has to be. 2024 is YG's year for launching BM and 2024 is the BP members' year to start their solo side of things. ...in 2025, BM will inevitably have a hiatus and BP will be ready to step back in, while having short hiatuses from their solo activities..
