Everyone should share their story on how this song makes them feel. I swear this song makes you feel something.
@Volti-Vagra2 ай бұрын
well if you insist this feels like a culmination of hundreds of lives- all on the same branch/vibe of just got home, quietly unwinding after going through w/e the day threw at them, or dealing with the loss of a dream job or even loved one, having the f i n a l moment to make a crucial decision with the tick tock of the clock in the back of your brain- hell, winning a million dollars and deciding should you tell anyone whatsoever, what to do with it nothing chaotic, overly o v e r l y sad or any sense of negatively charged, just this duality of both oddly at peace yet this looming pressure tl;dr this song weirdly as it may sound, represents "potential" in my brain, the feeling of the excitement of what could be, the fear (not fear but... trepidation? idk not spooked but more wary) of potential failure n lashback, the calm of every break and success

Just going to comment on this again, i always get attached to this song so even, it has always reminded me my own good pasts like i used to go shopping with my mom, always go to see my grandfathers funeral, me and my mother always going on a long drive, Getting a new house since September 2016 i always miss those good stuffs when life was simple and used to love being with my mom, being in a foster care has always made my life feel even more corrupted knowing how much mistakes i made over and other that, This song always gets to my head every time, where i go, how much i miss my mom, everything was so simple yet childish, the piano music has always knew about my good pasts, Lisa the pointless has held a special place to my heart and how much it changed my life way more then painful, This games always knew how i want my future life to be like its story.. Thank you Nathanial, Thank you for making this hidden gem song..

This song makes me feel of a lost lovers touch again, brings her back to me even If for a moment. And in that moment I am the happiest I'll ever be. Not saying I'm sad, I know I will never experience a joy like her again. She left me and got pregnant with another dude after taking my virginity and me spilling my soul and heart into her. Even though she wronged me, I'm not mad at her because she showed me what life is truly about. True happiness will be obtained without you even knowing it, and before you know it you've lost it and you're looking back on once was. Happiness is what you're doing now so make it count please.

I feel the beginning of the song screams "something big is coming in your life, but for now just watch it all come to you", the mid part is "the bombastic present now feel it ,fight it ,survived it" until that semifinal part of just pure redemption with the piano, drums and voice frenetequily desscribing all that has happened, yet the ending is unforguiving building some sort of history by the tunes story that ypou wnat toi listen to the end but then is completely cutten. A beautiful song from start to end :)

Hey Nathaniel, no clue if you’ll see this, but this song means so much to me. Since around February of this year, it’s become tradition for me to return here every Sunday night before school starts up again. I go outside, put this on, and think about my life for about half an hour, completely lost in the music. It makes me feel hopeful and alive for once, it moves me to my core and inspires me to look on the bright side in my life, even after everything that’s happened and what still happens now. Genuinely, I can never thank you and your parents enough for making this masterpiece, where ever you three are.
@glarchive72964 жыл бұрын
I love that you can turn such a bombastic and energized jazz piano into a soothing serene album just by having it sound like your hearing it from a different room or far away outside. It's the pièce de résistance of capturing either the nascent of entering a party, or the lingering exhaustion of being in a party an hour after most have worn themselves out from dancing and drinking. You did wonders Nathanial, and additional props to your parents for their piece in this cookie! I can smell that this slow-cooked update will be the shit.

This is absolutely incredible. I have come back so so many times to this song in the past year. This song makes me feel things that nothing else can, it's like this incredibly vivid nostalgia of a life that I have never lived, but also a somber feeling of never being able to reach something quite like those false memories. So many things in my life compounded to make this my alltime favorite piece of music ever created. There are no words that I can use to actually describe how much I love this. A melody that makes you feel like you're in a dream... I, like many others here, love to listen to this melody to calm down and sometimes think with a clear head. But these days this composition seems to show flashes of my past deeds, which are very disappointing for me, although they started with good intentions, being a polite person, with a kind heart, whose word sometimes inspired people and, if necessary, helped people in their hard days. And in recent days where I was seen as nothing more than a strange person in provocative clothes. My fault, I couldn't change people's opinions about myself and didn't fully anticipate the situation. Now I'm a traitor in their opinion, but it's better than being called a femboy. Listening to this melody I remember my good days, but remembering and reaching the culmination of this story is unpleasant for me, but I'm glad I ended it the way it happened. Under this melody, exhaling deeply, feeling less torment. I don't think anyone will read this. Especially considering that this text is translated.

@@TrillionCakes You did something good for her here. My ma's a talented artist but I only just found out recently. I'm being creative too. It's hard work but i will not sit by. I want to make and understand. Don't give up on what you want to do. Don't fall back because of pressure. This was beautiful. You can do far more if you feel you can't. I understand that. Besides this song and "Bad News Man" I'm working on 16 other tracks for the MU. Recommendations in the same genre, though. I think the beginning and end segments were inspired by Vangelis music, like such: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gIG1lqywhaySnKM For the middle segment with the singing, I was inspired by songs filtered through reverberations. The empty shopping mall kind of videos, you know. But the jazz/big band sound was inspired by this song in particular: kzbin.info/www/bejne/opmoomVprd6XnsU Made by a close friend and part of the team, who will also be doing music for the MU.

@TrillionCakes3 жыл бұрын
Hey! Unfortunately, I have yet to write this out as sheet music. A lot of it (if not all) was improvised and then repeated by muscle memory. While the melody is all its own, I did use a piano from the Kontakt sample library - so it wasn't acoustic, if that's what you meant. When I get more time, I'll try transcribing it. I believe you're the second person who's brought this up. For now, Fmaj7 with a D octive in the base (D-D for the left hand, F-A-C-E for the right)- that's the lifeblood of this track.
