Dear Lisa - congrats for this great and interesting travel report! It inspired me to spend hours researching the areas you traveled through by train (including the historical aspects). Russia covers such a large area and such diverse regions. Since I wouldn't be able to go on a trip like this due to my back problems, I'll just travel with you virtually and feel almost like I used to be on a journey of discovery in my younger years..🙂 What I find particularly wonderful is that you are "building bridges" between different people all over the world with your videos. "Ordinary" people all over the world ultimately want the same thing: we have similar dreams, wishes, fears and needs. Actually, every “normal” person just wants to live in peace, good health and a secure existence in love and harmony with our fellow creatures. It's a shame that humanity has so far not learned to implement this on a large scale - but your videos definitely make a positive contribution. Big hug and keep it up...🤗

I find this a facinating watch, there is so much in Russia that is unknown to outsiders, such a pity the news is full of bad reports. Life is so similar for people, far too much we focus on our differences and not what we share in common.

Thanks Lisa, interesting way to travel. I was born in Harbin China, and I knew this rail line has an extension going through that city. It's time to build a high speed rail line that can travel 350 kilometers per hour. Then, your whole journey would take only a little over 1 day, instead of a week. This line has always been Russia's link to the Far East. The train cars must change its rail gauge once crossed the border into China.

That’s interesting info. HSR would be great for commutes and can maybe slow down in the most scenic sections. Misleaders complaining about Chinese ’overcapacity’ would probably have collective aneurism if it was expended so clearly against their U.S. in, Russia out, Germany (Europe) down mantra..

Not this one. That is disgusting. She is sleeping with strange men for seven days. She even said it smells like a soldier's barracks. I would have gotten a private room no matter the cost.

I love traveling by train. I love trains. I have traveled on the Trans-Siberian railway many times and always slept like a rock. It is very cozy. There is a quite large city - Blagoveshchensk between khabarowsk and chita.

yes, Blagoveshchensk is a big city, but it is not located on the Trans-Siberian Railway, it is on the border with China 😇

Lovely video Lisa. You are so clever to be able to take 7 days' supply of food with you, and it doesn't even need a fridge. They look like tasty meals as well. I wonder if the train has a buffet where people can get food if they haven't brought any. Looking forward to the next episode in your fantastic voyage ❤

There is a dining car on the train. Anyone who wishes can eat there. But many people are used to taking food with them. On the way, you can buy something delicious at the stations😊

in the end the food began to run out or spoil without a refrigerator, so it only lasted for 3 days, I will show the restaurant car in the next video 👌
