Those are so adorable ❤. Thanks for sharing … it’s hard to get these plastic machines to sew layers I know … I was making someone a bath rug and bent several needles and fights broke out between me and my sewing machine 😂😂

This was so incredibly helpful... Thank you! Novice sewer here! 🙋🏻 Had no idea that glue & glue sticks could be used like that! I had went out & brought basting spray to try.... Also realized I've been cutting everything out the hard way! 🤦🏻 LOL

Beautiful! What a timely tutorial...gift time ahead : )) A year later...I made 3 of these for my daughters & daughter in law last year, but didn't end up giving one away. Hubby tho't the one that said "& Friends" needed a mate, so I'm just getting to that in time for this year's gift-giving season. Better late than never! I was amazed at how smooth this video is presented. Excellent, Lisa! Thx for your inspiration. That cutting machine would sure help! Happy Holidays ahead to all, 2022.

Hello. Thanks for great Christmas gift ideas. We have several "young" families and this is great as small, yet memorable, gifts. Our family is attempting to cut back on commercialism and give gifts from the heart. (I like the bias finished binding myself. I am a quilter, so bias doesn't intimidate me - in fact, I love it.) Thanks for the great tutorial - you have a very pleasant voice and I enjoy hearing you. Annandale, Minnesota :-)

These are great. I like your method of making the video then explaining while it's running. For the hot pad with the bit of unfinished edge...I think I'd add a small piece of binding to hide that....but I like the in biased version best! Not a big bias binding fan. Depends on the project I guess. Thank you for a great video!

What a great handy item to make. I do have one question. Why the hell didn't i think of school glue to use instead of basting spray. Here in New Zealand it's expensive at $55: for a can. And I always have school glue around my home. So a massive thank you for this idea
