It's great to learn from a proper Makeup artist compared to all those caked up girls that think they do makeup up. Less is more and so elegant.

I agree that you Lisa are so, soothing to watch. I love listening to those 2 ring's slightly "rattle" and "cling-cling" together when she work's on a face,(especially rhythmic during foundation or eyeshadow blending) and her gentle wisp-wave of her hand's as she daintily applies and blend makeup.....so, soothing. I've gone to sleep many a time watching her vid's. This is NOT a put down....I love a soothing voice and odd soothing noises, literally make's my heartbeat slow down....calming and blood pressure reducing. Makes me want to watch, relax....should be a prescription for high blood pressure,(lol) ;) Don't ever change those ring's babe! :) :) :)

She could do the first "makeup asmr" video. Lol.

YES! I listen to her as such!....Only, she need's to put the mic. a little closer to those rings. :)

I'm watching this while I have a really bad case of pneumonia and I have to say that your voice and your smooth actions (especially on the eyes) are very comforting to me. It's very interesting, but I didn't get much sleep last night (up most of the night coughing) and it's lulling me to sleep. LOL It's a compliment, I promise.

This is my first time watching your makeup tutorials, and I have to say I just love how you use brands that people can afford to buy. ( L'oreal, Rimmel etc...) its great to see a makeup artist using brands other then chanel or dior. Im still looking for a tutorial where its just the basics! Will continue to search your videos! I have found so many I cannot wait to watch! Thank you for all your great tips and tricks and effortless ways to put on great makeup!

The way you apply the makeup with the brush is so delicate and relaxing. The face of the model is your canvas to create a makeup masterpiece! You're truly an amazing artist, it's very inspiring to watch. Thanks for sharing, Lisa.

Lisa, I absolutely love that you don't believe in trying to make yourself look like a certain celebrity, but rather accentuate the beauty in your own "look". This really shows in all of your videos & I wanted to thank you for it. You've certainly helped me learn to be comfortable in my own face & accentuate what's beautiful about myself, instead of wishing I was someone else. Thank you so much, Lisa! :)

I just discovered Lisa's videos a few months ago & watched all of it back to back a few times. Aside from teaching me something new in every video, I just find it so calming to watch these videos. It's almost therapeutic! You're an absolute delight, Lisa.

I really enjoy Paula Dorf cosmetics - her brushes, eye base and eye shadows - but no one ever talks about her products or even uses them in videos so I was happy to see that you did. Maybe you could do a video on some makeup brands that you enjoy, but that are underrated. I would love to watch something like that. :)
@Sarah7MUA11 жыл бұрын
Lisa what I admire the most aside from your talent is how humble you are. You would have worked (and still work) with the highest end makeup brands yet you can just pick up a drugstore product and make it look like magic the same way. I really appreciate that you share your amazing talent and knowledge with us. xx

I LOVE that you said, "This look is NOT about looking like Cara D." This is why so many of us can relate to your beauty videos because none of us look like supermodels. Your tutorials are always relatable, full of tips to suit our own skin coloring/facial features. Thank you, Lisa!!

Lisa, your videos give me so much joy to watch. I am almost speechless at how beautiful this look is and how the shades compliment Paris' natural eye colour so well. I love the way you don't over-complicate the looks you create for us. That makes make-up so much more accessible to people like myself who might not have your years and years of incredible experience and skill. Thank you, Lisa. I truly think you are a beautiful, lovely, talented lady

Haven't looked at this vid for a while...now I'm inspired to mess around with the Chanel and Dior mousse shadows...also reminded me that periodic powdering under the eyes during is a good idea for sparkly stuff and black liner. And I'd forgotten...hey how about using actual highlighter in the inner corner instead of shadow! Avon makes a great pen form that would be perfect for it. Very affordable. And their super shock gel liner is super inky black and long lasting. Mac also makes some pretty highlighter pens. Better pull them out...if I can find them! Paris is super lovely and favors Jessie a fair bit...her own brows are gorgeously shaped. Yay for growing brows!

Wow, this is absolutely stunning. I have recently subscribed and have learned so much from you already Lisa. I'm 40 but have oily skin, so I think similar to you, and have been in a make-up rut.
