I’m struggling to think of anyone who makes quality Procreate brush sets on your level. Not only are you brush sets and work amazing and endearing, but you as a person are so very likeable. Anyone and everyone seems to call themselves an artist these days, and AI doesn’t help that, but there is one thing that AI will never have and that’s your heart. You are amazing!!

@@Lisaglanz Heyyy Lisa, I have taken all your skillshare classes and you are a terrific teacher! You are thoughtful, generous, knowledgeable and relatable. As an illustrator, I believe you are one of the best in the industry, therefore, drawing definitely should be considered. Whether traditional, digital or both art mediums, I believe you can teach your students how to draw for their own enjoyment or purposes. With the many drawing kits that you have created, students have the option to use them if necessary. Also, I use to listen to you on The Honest Designers Show, such a cool show, anyway in the final episode I heard you say that you will never become an organized business entrepreneur. I thought, “NO, Lisa, you are so capable of creating something special!” I have been following you for years and the reason I do is because you are such a genuine artist at heart and I adore your artistic style. The whimsical, imperfect perfect illustrations capture a beautiful story or voice. Be yourself in creating a course, membership or subscription because we need your joy for drawing! Whenever I watch you teach, it’s like going on a magical adventure! No one is like you Lisa! I think selling digital products is only one of the many options for artists. There is a huge market for traditional and digital artists alike with the invention of the iPad, but I know as a graphic designer I like time off the devices, so I like to sketch, paint or draw traditionally as well. Its just necessary! As I mentioned, you have many years of working in this industry so I know you can also teach about building a business with your art. Personally, I want to learn how to draw to create my own surface pattern designs for print on demand products. I would like to improve drawing florals, botanicals and character designs to find my own signature style so that I can expand my small business. Thank you for your sharing your talent on SK and KZbin! I’m ready for class! 👩🎓🫶❤️

So before I add the next comment, this is only constructive as I have a lots of your brushes, think you are an amazing artist, love all of your art and will continue to follow and purchase your brushes and tutorials. When purchasing “vintage tales” I had just assumed (obviously my bad) that the tutorial was going to be either the art advertising the brushes or something similar to a “tale” which I really wanted to see how you created that look but the tutorial is mostly botanical, yes vintage but not a “vintage tale”. I appreciate you want to show how these brushes can be so much more but I get sold on the look of the advertising image.

Hello! I really love your brushes and all your content. I would like to ask you something. When I try to set the sketch layer to color burn mode, it just disappears. Is there something I'm doing wrong in the process?
@Lisaglanz13 күн бұрын
So glad you're enjoying the brushes and tutorials! When setting a layer to Colour Burn, the elements on that layer will "disappear" if you don't have anything underneath the layer. The blend mode will only interact with artwork that sits directly underneath the artwork on the Colour Burn layer. So if you have white, you won't see anything, if you have a colour for example, you'll see the artwork on the colour burn layer appear. Hope that helps!

I wish I could!! I just can't get the same yummy results in Adobe Photoshop. The brush engines are very different and no amount of tweaking the settings is giving me good enough results that I'm happy with. So sorry about that! It's very frustrating, hopefully with each PS update this will improve.

I've dabbled in Procreate so this question may be rudimentary but how do I load these once that I buy the package into Procreate? it says the software requirements are: Procreate brushsets version 5X. What does that mean? Thanks, Terry Watson
@Lisaglanz Жыл бұрын
Hi Terry, If you have the latest version of Procreate you should be all set. The 5x is just the minimum version requirement to use the brushes. I have a help article that guides you in importing brushes into Procreate which you can find here: support.lisaglanz.com/article/46-how-to-install-procreate-brushes
