I used to be an Event Coordinator at Michaels Arts and Crafts store. I taught many many people how to make professional looking bows with the EZ Bowmaker tool!!! Just like you demonstrated here in your video. I recommend what you have said and know that this is the easy and most beautiful way to make bows!

I made my own bow maker out of scrap wood I found in my hubbys work shop years ago ..plus I used dowels for the center..I also put ruler marking on it. It cost about $1 to make...I love your videos Lisa..Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !!

Your bow is lovely. Loving the holiday vids! I have this bow maker Lisa, I bought it years and years ago, but find that I can do it easier and faster just holding it in my hand and just doing using the same look twist method and holding the bow in my hand with my thumb and using my middle finger to hold the bottom as I twist. It sounds complicated, but it's easy and so much faster for me.

FYI........I was taught to make bows this way years ago with one slight change. When zushing or fluffing your bow, alternate sides. It makes a lovely rounded bow.

Thank you for this straightforward “how-to” presentation, as well as the heads-up on the bow maker. I’ve used the Bowdabra for a few years with decent results but would like to try something else, so your recommendation with demonstration is a great help. When I googled the Deluxe EZ Bow Maker it seemed that out of the very few negative reviews the one recurring issue was that the dowels wouldn’t stay in place. Wouldn’t a little hot glue fix that? It could still be laid on its side for storage. Maybe there’s something I’m not seeing... Okay - off to Michaels!

"Tszujing" my new fave word 🤗...and I have the "bowdabra" and love it...the wire that comes with it is much easier to pull tight than basic paddle wire...its got little grips on it so as u pull it tight it stays ...now I'm off to tszuj some bows 😉

You could use a thin zip tie instead of floral wire and the zip tie would allow you to freely tug to position your loops. Thanks for the “bow maker” idea.
